Simply a great place to stay! Wonderful staff, nice furnishings, perfectly clean... If one could pay by credit card it would be absolutely perfect.

Yes, it is cheap and fairly clean but probably not cheap enough to compensate for all the downsides.. Where to start? My room had a see-through door, bathroom next to it was quite dirty, wifi was only working in the lobby. Staff were nice though not really sure of anything, all of them saying different things.. My friend paid for a double room for himself though another person was put in his room in an accidental key swap.. Probably not again..

The place is fairly cheap and well located, staff is nice and helpful and the free shot at the bar is a pleasant bonus. We enjoyed our stay there though the shared bathrooms could do better in terms of cleanniness and facilities (there was constant lack of toilet paper, no place to put your clothes in the shower, the light outside the shower kept going off while you were taking shower etc.). The tea at breakfast was not fit for humane consumption but that is a small thing.

Not all members of staff are equally friendly, one gave us wrong information about the way to the airport... but overall a great place to stay

The place is pretty and atmospheric and staff friendly and helpful. Still I am not sure whether I would stay there again. For the kind of money you are paying you can get private bathrom and aircon in some other hostels in the area. The place was rather loud at night and there were mosquitos in our room. Breakfast is so simple its really not worth mentioning.

Hostel Cathedral

Great place, they really try to provide everything a traveller could possibly need. Great breakfast (dinner a little less). That having said, it is impossible to sleep without ear plugs (in all of Mexico:-) and though I appreciate the security aspect, wearing the id band 24/7 can be a little annoying.

Overall a good hostel. The only problem was that the quality of breakfast depended on who was serving it. On the first day we got almost nothing, on the second day had to wait till staff does the shopping. The other two breakfasts were great.

Very good value for the money - good location and friendly staff (except for the lady serving breakfast). Would come back

Jubilee Hotel

Good value hotel and location but the quality of staff varies greatly. That is perhaps why we waited for the pre-arranged airport pickup which never came. So if you want the pickup (and who would not?) check with them several times that they indeed are going to pick you up.
