I think this place has been refurbished / is under new ownership as the reviews I read were nit reflective of the place as all. It's really decent hostel - I was only passing through for one night but would have happily stayed longer if my schedule allowed for it
This place was a real find on Gili Air and was hands down the best place I stayed across Indonesia. Really great value and a lot of thought has gone into the set up of the place I stayed in a private Hut which had a super comfy matresses. There is also a really sociable element to this place as well - the giant table acts as a meeting point in the evening for everyone to hang out around. It sounds like James also has more plans for develop g this, so it can only get even better!
A good place to spend a few days whilst exploring the area. The transfer to the Gili Island was good value and the staff all super helpful. As a solo traveller the place did lack a backpackers atmosphere though - this is the case across most if Indonesia that I explored.
Another great hostel in Montenegro! This place was really sociable, with everyone gathering around in the lounge in the evening. The owner is really friendly and helpful and makes a massive effort to ensure everyone is having a good time. This is the only hostel in town and so it's full of real backpackers who are all friendly which helps to create a great atmosphere. The facilities are all really clean and the beds really comfy.
This was a really great hostel, it's a shame i only had one night in Kotor, i would have stayed longer if i could. The staff are really friendly, helpful and funny. It has a really relaxed atmosphere and the building is cool as well.
Wow, this place is in a really amazing location. It's slightly hard to find but well worth it when you do. We awoke to a stunning view of the mountains and tara bridge hearing the current of the water. The staff were all really helpful and the evening meal was really tasty.
I stayed here for just one night whilst travelling through. I caught the night bus from Sarajevo, arriving into town at 3am (1 hour late), although checkin closes at 10pm, they agreed to stick around for me which i really appreciated. They are really close to the bus station which was a great benefit for me! The team were really helpful as well, helping us to organise a car.
A really great hostel. Unkas, the owner is really knowledgable and recommended a really great place for some traditional Bosnian food. They run a day tour and you really get to see the city and surroundings that would not be possible on your own. I had a great time in sarajevo.
This is a really great hostel, a home from home where you're greeted with cake and iced-tea. The rooms are comfy, the breakfast tasty and the tour with Bata is a must. I spent 3 nights here and met loads of interesting people, there is a real sociable atmosphere about the hostel. One of the best i have stayed in.
Really great place to stay, clean, great facilities, everything you'd need. Only downside is it's not really geared up for a solo travellers looking to meet other people and lacks an atmosphere - this could just be time of year though.
I had a great 3 nights in this Hostel. It's in a great location, a little tricky to find but it's Marrakesh - everything is! The place is kept immaculate clean and tidy but could probably do with a bit of investment here and there. Great value for money and the staff worked non-stop to make sure everyone enjoyed their stay including endless tea!
This place i, at the top of the hill with amazing viewss perfect for when you are exploring Petra. At the top of the hill it has amazing views for breakfast. Would highly reccomend.
fairly basic but did the job for an overnight before heading to petri.
Probably the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! I started and ended my trip in Tel Aviv and had 5 nights in total. It has a great atmosphere which the staff work really hard to maintain. They’re really friendly & always happy to give recommendations on things to do and places to eat. The roof garden is a great way to relax at the end of a day with beer and there was always somewhere organised in the evenings to party, that you probably wouldn’t find by yourself. Keep up the great work guys!
This place was a great base whilst in Lisbon. The staff were mega-friendly offering up loads of great reccomendations of places to see and eat.
Brand new hostel, decked out to a really high standard. This is a great concept for a hostel.
This was by far the best al round hostel i stayed in, in Brazil. Our room didn't have air-con that worked and the rooms could have been cleaner but putting that aside the staff were so friendly and helpful. There was also plenty going on to help you meet other travellers. I was there over New Year which i'm sure added to the atmosphere as well. Would definitley stay here again if i return to Brazil
This was a really nice place ticked up on a hillside of the island but easily accessible. This is a chilled hostel and one which has families in it rather than just backpackers. It's quiet and relaxing so if that's what you're after then it's perfect. The staff don't speak much english but they are really helpful.
The staff here were super friendly and helpful but the place does need a bit of a facelift. There was also a small child staying in the dorm room which was a bit odd.
This is a great hostel, really clean and secure in a great location - probably one of the best all round hostels I stayed in, in Brazil. The staff were really helpful and there was a decent free breakfast. My only criticism was it seemed to lack a bit of atmosphere, everyone seemed to keep themselves to themselves in the bar in the evening but it was the weekend, and I think a lot of Brazillians came here which might be why as it wasn’t full of backpackers. .
The location is perfect for getting to the Brazilian side of the falls. This is definitely a chill out Hostel, and it’s great to relax by the pool! There are no lockers but this place is in the middle of nowhere with a perimeter fence, so I felt perfectly safe leaving my valuables in the room. It’s great value, with plenty of choice for breakfast & the staff were really friendly and if you make the effort to talk to them, they might even teach you a bit of Portuguese!
I stayed here for two nights at the start of my trip on a Sunday and Monday which are probably the 2 quietest nights in Lapa / Centro. There wasn't much going on at all and the Hostel was pretty quiet on these evenings,. However, I can imagine on Thursday / Friday this is a great place to be when there are lots of people around and the location is great for the famous Lapa street parties! The staff were friendly and helpful when I asked them anything. The rooms were clean and with air con, thoug
