The hostel had basic amenities, and was clean. Although off peak, there wasn't much of an atmosphere, with overly strict rules about when you could go to certain areas. The cleaning lady in the morning was quite rude, and the man who checked me when I arrived was hardly Mr. engaging. If you need a bed whilst you discover this lovely city, then this is perfect, if you are looking for a (good) experience, then I'd suggest you find anywhere else than here.

Excellent hostel in the sweet spot of Dresden for the laid back night life. Super friendly and helpful staff, with an excellent free bike service (although test your bike before setting off too far). Rooms and toilets were super clean. So safe, despite leaving my laptop on top of the Piano, I was rung within 20 minutes to be reunited it!

In the heart of Rotterdam, 15 minutes walk to everythíng, with a great, friendly atmosphere. The staff were attentive and helpful, and always willing to give extra advice. The rooms were spacious, with secure lockers (and plugs IN the lockers, so you can charge your devices whilst knowing they were safe), with accessible, clean and well lite bathroom facilities. The lounge and kitchen area are really great too, with an assortment of seating to suite your mood. The outdoors area is also cool.

A little bit away from the main tourist area, but in a nice area still where I managed to find some nice bars and restaurants. Generally quite clean and the staff were OK to help out. Place is huge and spacious, so you can find a chill out space to suit you at all times.

Pretty sweet hostel, nice facilities with a nice location. Has a great backpacker feel, rather than it being a party hostel, although you'll still have fun and a beer or six.

A great hostel that is built for the original backpacker. Good location and awesome little balcony. A little rough around the edges, but everything is functional and more importantly clean. Ruxandra and Alina were great staff and always kept the atmosphere and helpfulness to high standards.

A good hostel, with only a short walk to everything that you need. A friendly and relaxed outdoor and bar area. Kitchen was clean, as were common areas too!

Although we read good reviews, we were disappointed with the support from the (American) staff member, who gave us poor information which he changed his story to when we returned. The Check-In process was poor, with little direction or clarity given. The bathroom was also often in not the best condition. Otherwise an OK hostel.

As an experienced traveller, I can safely say this is one he'll of a hostel for the price. Staff were amazingly friendly, the bar was super nice and the rooms were so organised and we'll laid out, it was a pleasure. Now you've read this review, just book it.

Bang in the middle of the old town, with AC rooms and friendly staff that want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Good common area, only small down side is lack of bathrooms, but worth a small wait for the ease of access to old town, informative staff and AC during piping hot summer months.

A surprise of a hostel! Odd location, but great if doing a road trip like we were, or if you needed the stadium. Like we did too! Really clean and AC was efficient and required. Staff were helpful and informative.

Excellent hostel, with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and so we're common areas. Hostel is a little removed from town, but excellent buses and ability to rent bikes helped. Would recommend, purely for the helpful staff.

Bit of a pit really. Security was OK, but considering the moron's I met there, it should have been tighter. Good location. There are better hostels in Berlin.

This is a smart, clean and considerate hostel. The doorms are decorated and laid out so they feel homely. The downstairs lounge and restaurant area is pleasant. The entire place is cleaned thoroughly everyday by an army of workers. The staff are friendly, considerate and fun especially Sven. Although not in the centre of Berlin, it is on the circle line, giving you access to the whole city within half an hour. Highly recommended!!

I've stayed at better, cheaper hostels. It was adequate, and clean, but there was something lacking that meant it wasn't the best atmosphere!

There was more bed space than floor space, which made getting around the rooms difficult, plus you were almost sleeping on top of other people you were so close. The beds were propped up on books, and there was one shower for about 35 guests... they had really gone to exploit people for the EURO 2012 tournament, which was disappointing!

Stayed for a few nights in the end. The hostel was good fun, especially drinking vodka with the locals! The room was pleasant and the hostel was quaint and helpful, even allowing us to use the washing machine for free. Highly recommended!

A lovely hostel with an authentic Ukrainian feel. Very smart and tidy, with a lovely kitchen area to chill in the morning. Very accommodating even giving us a couple of beers for free. Happy days!

A good hostel located close to the train station and in a cool area with a good few places to go for a drink. Clean, and airy, but the staff were a little unfriendly, but I think this was more of Polish way and a difficulty with the Languages!

For a camp site, it was excellent. It was in the shadow of the Gdansk Arena, so was fantastic. Bit pricey for the ropey two man tent we had, but it was good nonetheless, especially as I was able to get super close to the stadium!

Was a weird hostel that felt like home, but then the long corridors were reminiscent of a prison. Was friendly and clean enough considering it was hosting loads of vodka swirling Russians!

A really good hostel with great facilities, a cheap bar and a neat smoking balcony. There is organised bar crawls, and the rooms are really tidy and clean with decent locking facilities.

If you want to party like it is going out of fashion, then go here. It is cheap and has a fairly cool set up. The staff will party a hard as you can, which has repercussions in the morning, when you are trying to check in/out and they are more drunk than you. Security was a bit iffy, and if you are over the age of 24 you might want to stay somewhere else as most of the people are 18-22.

A cracking hostel, right by the beach. Great staff who were friendly and a smashing bar downstairs that is really good at getting the party going?

I was only here for one night, but was hugely impressed by the overall impression of the hostel. The staff were super friendly and the rooms were very clean, excellently decorated and well furnished. The roof top bar was a fantastic suprise. The overal town was excellent, much better than I expected.

I've been told about this place many times, but have never been fortunate to stay... this time I was. It is a great little hostel with a fantastic approach to Amsterdam. Have fun, party hard and enjoy your stay, but be respectful. Good deals in the bar for happy hour, and the smoking room is a treasure.
