basic but affordable, friendly staff
just what we needed for our stay in Florence. Basic, clean, tidy and good location.
We loved this place! Reasonable price which we didn't expect much for. However, the room was large, clean, had original restored features from around the 1800's and was a real luxury experience. There were lovely touches such as flowers and candles on the bed, a glorious garden that we had use of for relaxing in the evening and even home-made yoghurt and jam for breakfast. The owner was helpful, accommodating and runs a truly wonderful B&B.
A lovely room that is situated in the heart of Corniglia, the smallest of the 5 towns, but in my opinion the most unspoilt and traditional. The room was bright and airy and had lovely double aspect views over the mountains. The owner, Stefano, was very helpful and welcoming although does need to be told your time of arrival due to him meeting tourists at the flat to hand over the keys. The walk to Venazza and Monterosso begins in Corniglia which is really handy.
