more of a hotel than a hostel, saying this because there is no common area inside , there is a lovely backyard however. literally a minutes walk when exiting the train station (head to the right). cannot get more convenient than that. and although not in the heart of the town, it is only a 10 minute walk.
in a good location, quiet residential neighbourhood, halfway between the city of Varna and the resort area of Golden Sands
nice location steps away from train station, but on other side of tourist attractions, but the main square is only a 10 minute walk away. the hostel felt more like a university dorm, not surprising since Leuven is a university town. very clean and decent breakfast.
i stayed in a private room and found it over-priced for a cramped room with a bunkbed, compared to the Sleep Well hostel for the same price. location was good, close to Brussels north Train Station and a metro stop and a shopping mall. no breakfast offered and they shut down common area, which includes the lounge, TV and kitchen at 11pm!
i stayed in a private room, and it was more like a hotel. in fact, it looks like the property is now what used to be 2 different accomodations, a hostel and a hotel, and it is all under 1 roof now. so it did not have a typical hostel feel, but it was nice
hostel was nicely located just off the tram stop and right behind one of the main attractions, the Gravensteen Castle. the hostel itself felt very clinical, almost like a hospital or university dormitory, not at all like a typical hostel, but the staff was very helpful.
great hostel, great location, and having a bar is a nice way to meet other travelers
check in times are specific; so keep in touch with hostel about your arrival time. hostel was nice, but far from centre
very friendly staff, nice, quiet hostel, nice breakfast, close to center
excellent, affordable hotel. rooms with AC and TV. hotel has a pool and a large lounge area outside surrounding the pool. the owner, Señor Daniel was extremely helpful and nice. does not speak a lot of English, but he can make himself understood. also, delicious breakfast, steps away from super market, bus stop and Angel, a great local restaurant.
location steps away from the beach and main strip. the room was dark as only 1 lightbulb worked. a complaint i had is that although i paid 10% through hostel world website, the ladies working there said they knew nothing of any deposit and expected me to pay the full amount. not too many rooms, and not much going on at the hostel itself. just a place to put your head down.
great location, close to airport, and right near center of town. stayed in a private room, which for the price i paid could have had a TV. the hostel has a bar and pizzeria/restaurant, which comes in handy since there is not much to do in Alajuela itself at night. the guys who worked there were great. my only complaints, they weren't waiting for me at the airport, so an airport employee outside had to contact them to come get me.
helpful staff, and nice hostel, seems more like you are staying at a friend's apartment instead of a hostel. very close to the Metro, which is handy, but also, the main street is only about a 15 minute away. large market about 2 minutes away, Olympic stadium within view, and plenty of restaurants steps away.
nice hostel, run by a very nice family, within walking distance of Donbass Arena and many bus stops very close by. also, a couple nice restaurants around the corner, and a market steps away. the only down side is the number of facilities, 1 WC and 1 shower, so if the hostel is full, it could be a problem.
i enjoyed my stay at the hostel, the breakfast is excellent for being complimentary. my only complaint, and it is a big one, although i signed up for the afternoon shuttle service they provide, it never arrived. they phoned a couple of taxi companies, but niether showed up, so 45 minutes after the shuttle was scheduled, i had to hop on a city bus that headed to the airport. this could have been either disastrous, if i missed a flight, or expensive if i had to hail my own taxi.
the best location, great staff. right across from beach, and a rooftop patio! not a huge hostel, so you get a chance to meet other travellers easily. my only complaint, in addition to the ensuite bathrooms in each dorm room, there are bathrooms downstairs as well. one of the toilets was clogged, and when i informed the "cleaning lady" she did not want to hear about it, although i don't know if she was the actual cleaning lady or the breakfast staff since she did not speak English
great hostel, location and staff. 1 down-side, only one of the private rooms had AC. this is really necessary in Cartagena.
great location, close to beach. great hostel, did not use the pool, but in the heat, it is a nice bonus to have.
great location and staff. very informative, and the hostel fostered a friendly atmosphere.
great location in Casco Viejo, nice staff, great place to meet people, and a built in bar with happy hour also a plus.
very close to Marseille train station and old port is only 15 minute walk away. very helpful staff. big common room and eating area.
this is a hotel, not a hostel, so don't expect to find any backpackers, or a common room. however, the location is amazing, Papal Palace is less than 5 minute walk up the road, and the hotel was very well-priced and the room was huge and clean.
hotel is 5 minutes walk from train station, and 15-20 minute walk from Old part of City (with bars and restaurants), and the beach. no common room other than an outdoor terrace, but this is more like a hotel than a traditional hostel. Tram is right across the street.
can't beat the location!
very friendly and helpful staff. nice hostel.
hostel provides an excellent booklet about what to do in the area. great hostel, close to many regional sites
great location in the Taksim area of Istanbul, the party area. close to metro stop, but the hostel is not labelled so therefore a little tricky to find.
great staff, very welcoming and informative. nicely located and a nice break from busy Istanbul. the home-cooked meals were awesome!!!
nice, small, family-run pension. great little town, and close to a wonderful historical site, Pergamum. not a party hostel, but a nice little hotel with a great breakfast.
Great location. nice bar to meet people within the hostel.
Located in a quiet part of Cancun. very residential area. 10 minute walk to the bus stop. decent location. more of a hotel than a hostel. no common meeting room (that i was aware of). good value for the money.
great value for the money.
