Very nice stay with following noted: silly paying for wifi in this day and age... Bathroom mirror 6 foot up the wall - most people aren't that tall! Shower good except facing the shower door so its either get floor/everything wet or brave cold water whilst waiting for it to get to warm.. Inclusive breakfast between 8 and 9:30 on New Years Day NOT fun.. Seems like lots of party people stays at hotel because it has very strict (some might say draconian) regulations in place...

In the City Centre in beautiful area of Portimoa. Establishment owner managed and value for money compared to staying in a cramped backpackers with shared bathrooms and rooms! Had my own room with twin beds with a nice balcony and ensuite bath for €16.50 per night! Furnishings old fashioned but clean and could even be described as quaint. Plumbing is outdated but again - for the price and privacy this was super for a weary traveller. Staff super friendly and helpful

I have stayed in hostels and hotels all over Europe, South Africa and America. This is by far the best hostel I've stayed at. This could be a 3 - 4 star hotel if the rooms had en-suites, telephones and TV's. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The facilities - especially the bathrooms – are clean as if this are a brand new built. Décor is classy and has the atmosphere of a boutique hotel. Granted different people may want a more traditional hostel experience. Age group of guests also tends to be highe
