Bit of a mixed bag. The "poor" rank for facilities is based on the hostel description, where they say the rooms have phones and TVs - they do not, so that's a bit misleading. I think there's a few Yildiz locations in town, and this one seems to be run by the owner's parents, who are nice and helpful, though their English is non-existent. To their credit, there is a "keyword/phrase" poster at reception which was really helpful at checkout, and they did figure out an extra night for me as well.
Definite recommendation. It's located right at the base of the Acropolis, which makes getting there (and to the nearby Red Basilica) a snap, and it's not too far of a walk to the Asclepion as well. Owner is fantastic and arranged a fish dinner for all the travellers on the first night for super cheap. Great little lounge/meal area as well.
Very close to the south entrance of the travertines, clean and with a neat little courtyard on the bottom. Since you're probably only going to be in Pamukkale for one night, this place makes for a comfortable stay.
Easily the best place we stayed in Turkey. The staff totally makes it amazing, and if there was a button to the right of excellent, I would click it a hundred times over for them. They totally saved us on a day where a PMD tour messed up and didn't pick us up, getting us our own car and driver for almost the same cost! Rooms are great, it's close to lots of amazing restaurants and we lucked out one night when they happened to cook dinner for everybody for cheap. So tasty! An amazing place!
Great little place, admittedly a bit away from the town centre when compared to other hostels we saw, but an easy ride with the frequent shuttle and a nice walk in the evening. Tuna is AMAZING and helped us set up boats and buses for our trip. Only complaint is laundry - having been in Turkey for a month, 25L for laundry is a lot. The mini pool is amazing, great for cooling off after getting too much sun at the beach. Would definitely recommend.
Great place to stay in Patara! The family that runs it is super nice and helpful. Rooftop garden/patio is absolutely beautiful, a great place to hang out with a nice breeze for when the Turkish summer gets too hot. Would definitely stay here again if I was in Patara.
Solid "Tree House" type place in Olympos, really close to the beach and ruins, right next to the main road (as everything is in Olympos). Staff were rnice and helpful and the lounge area was really comfortable. Great dinners and breakfast! Only complaints were that the door on our bungalow didn't seal totally, so it was easier for bugs to get in (you're going to get some bugs anyway) and the Internet was touch and go depending on the time of day and where you were. Still, would recommend!
Good little place to stay in Antalya. Great staff, honest enough to tell me that a cab would be cheaper than their pick-up service! Breakfast was good, with fresh made omelets and your typical Turkish breakfast selection. Can be a bit hard to find on foot, so if you're walking here, make sure you enter from Hadrian's gate - makes for a straight shot, less chance of being lost. Overall, really nice little place!

Really great place to stay in Goreme, comfortable rooms with nice, comfy beds. Close access to the Sunset Hill, GREAT breakfast! Would stay there again!
Stayed in one of the rooms off of the main hostel, really well maintained. Great location near lots of food and the Seoul Metro. I was looking for a quiet time and the staff totally respected that and still offered an invite to come by the main building any time. Really friendly, really helpful. Would totally recommend.
Solid hostel right near all the important stuff in Seogwipo. Bike rental and DIY breakfast a plus - love the eggs! Small lockers for passports and cameras, wouldn't be too hard to put some lockable doors on the in room cubbies for bigger items. Staff were really nice and helpful but I think a local map to hand out to tourists would have been a big help. A couple of times I had maps drawn for me with varying levels of accuracy. Overall, a good hostel!
Location is amazing, hostel is nice and clean and rooms are pretty big as well. Air conditioning is a major plus. Staff was good, but there were a couple of hit-or-miss moments. One morning, they turned the power off in our room to get us out for the cleaning lady and, literally the moment we handed them the key, they turned power back on in the room. A knock on the door would have been a lot more polite. Other times, though, they were quite helpful, so a bit of a mixed bag.

Great hostel in a phenomenal location (roof patio is pretty sweet) with great staff running it. Wicked fast Wifi and never hard to meet people and find things to do. Only complaint is they don't seem to clean the bathrooms more than once a day, which leads to paper "pile up" in the bin, which considering South America's don't flush paper policy, can get a bit gross. However, that is the ONLY complaint in an otherwise phenomenal stay!
If there was a "Beyond Excellent" rating, I would give it to the staff. They are absolutely amazing and go out of their way to make you feel at home and make sure you are having a good time! Hostel itself is also pretty darn good, great location, solid facility!
GREAT Hostel. Staff is super pleasant, free wine some days of the week, dorms have plenty of room. Definite recommendation!
Stayed in the six person ensuite on the first floor. VERY cramped, made it hard to keep clean and was in the worst location, between reception, the common area and the kitchen, which became a second common area. Canadian guy working the desk was GREAT but the evening guy kept playing the "Be Quiet" game with a group in the kitchen every twenty minutes when they cranked their music up. Staff cannot be afraid to tell people to quiet down OR go to bed when they are being rude. Could be better.
Great little place! Staff was super helpful, coming up to our room on the fourth floor to show us how to use the hot water, making early breakfast for us when we were headed out on a morning bus, and always answering questions to the best of their availability. The street is relatively quiet for La Paz, but it's still close to everything you need. By far more of a hotel feel than a hostel feel, but definitely a great bargain hotel. Would definitely recommend if you need a quiet spot!
Overall, not bad but it is definitely a hotel. Rooms were big, showers were hot, things were clean. The location is close enough to everything but the street it is on is pretty noisy and you have to bodycheck your way through people to get to the main areas of the city (though it´s not a far walk). Staff was cheerful but their helpfulness varied depending on what you were asking them and the language barrier of that particular staff member. Overall, a decent place to spend a few nights.

Near perfect hostel! Coco and his family are absolutely amazing and totally accommodating to any needs you might have. The building is beautiful on the inside, doesn't even feel like a hostel but more like a boutique hotel. Beds are comfortable, showers are HOT, common areas are really well put together and the whole place has obviously had a lot of care put into it. It's an easy ten minute walk from the square and nice and quiet so you're not bagged before or after treks! High marks, Coco!
Building is a bit run down but it's got a neat atmosphere to it and it's as clean as it could be for the age of the building. The staff is totally what makes the place, as they are super helpful and accommodating and are never hard to find. Super secure place, too, they'll be at the bus station within minutes of you calling them to pick you up and take you there. Common area is comfortable, no Hostel-type activities but if you're in Nazca, you're there for the Lines and not the party.
Really great hostel, super clean and modern. Breakfast is awesome and common area is perfect in size - not too small that you're climbing over each other but not so big that it's unfriendly. Definite recommendation.
So hostels live and die by their atmosphere and their staff and this hostel had ZERO atmosphere to speak of. Basically, the hostel is a hotel and the staff, who seem like nice people, are chained behind a giant desk which keeps them from putting themselves out there. I found more information on Bachelor Parties and Sexxxy Champagne Hot Tub Parties than I did about Wroclaw and the layout of the hostel makes it tough to meet fellow travelers. As a solo traveler, I would avoid. Nothing special.
One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in and definitely the most fun. That's completely due to the staff that work there. Smart, funny and helpful! Great job, guys and gals!
Great location, staff is just amazing and incredibly knowledgeable. Right off of the main strip, you're right on the bus and tram lines and it's an easy walk to most of the major sights as well. You're kind of on your own to figure out things to do, as the staff makes recommendations but there's not really that organized "push" that other hostels give to get people interacting as a group. Still, great place to stay while you're in Warsaw.
Gotta hit the poor first - the bathrooms are in major need of a deep clean. Black mold around the sink, cobwebs, bug carcasses and old toilet paper on the floor from whoever was there before. Random 3D stain on our bedsheet when we arrived, too. That being said, excellent location, rest of the room is really good, staff is crazy helpful (moved us to a new room to get away from the street) and funny once you get to know them a bit. If the bathrooms get cleaned up, I'd recommend a stay!
Phenomenal staff, great location, super helpful in getting around Angkor. Great place, would highly recommend it.
Great find in Hanoi. Staff was absolutely amazing! 22 dollars a night for a double bed, a single bed, a computer, large fridge and television. Clean, great breakfast, great coffee - if we're ever back in Hanoi, this is the place we'll stay!
A great find smack in the middle of Busan. Pretty close to anywhere you need to get by subway, great rooms with clean, comfortable beds. I can't speak for the singles, but the doubles reminded me more of a nice North American motel than a Japanese busines hotel. I'd especially recommend it to anybody working in Korea who want cheap, nice accomodations without having to track down a love hotel at the last minute.
Easily one of the top hostels I've ever stayed in! The place is beautiful, well maintained (though it looks like there was some work going on in the courtyard, but it is the "down season", so that can be forgiven. The hike up is MASSIVE, but the good thing is that there are some shortcuts that let you completely avoid the hill. The morning shuttle service is great, the staff is amazing, the food is incredible and totally worth whatever you pay for it - just an absolutely phenomenal place.
The place really needs to be cleaned a bit more regularily, espcially due to the cramped space. Showers had a lot of mildew, bedspreads were pretty ratty, not impressive in terms of cleanliness. Otherwise, the staff were great and very accomodating.
Lower marks for cleanliness simply because the bathrooms weren't great - no shower curtains, water gets everywhere. Otherwise a good, cheap option.
This may be the best hostel I've ever stayed in.
