Great Hostel with an excellent atmosphere. Location is also great. They oraganize things such as bar crawls, BBQ, etc. Best of all: they guys took me on a tour through Rio in their private car! Thanks again, that was great. Hostel is totally recommended.

More Hotel-Feeling without atmosphere. However they have a pool, direct beach access and a chilled bar right next to it. The room was big and clean, but totally run down and no mosquito net - I think they reserve these cheap bungalows for hostelworld-bookers, as I saw better ones away from the parking and more to the beach front. Also, WiFi only in the pool/restaurant area. Bottom-line: good price for what was offered but nothing totally special. Next time would look for more atmosphere.

Friendly staff, clean bungalows. Keep in mind that in these simple huts are lots of mosquitos!! Location is good as a bit up the hill away from the action (but only 5 min walk). But still loud at night from the beach discos. Overall OKish, but a bit pricy - I found better places later for the same money. Also: not much common areas, no WiFi.

Friendly staff, good rooms, superb location and cheap. However I saw much more charming places around which all seem not to be listed on hostelworld. This guest house had no common area/terrace to hang around and meet people. Recommended more for couples that look just for a budget room for the night.

Excellent hostel. Met graet people in the relaxing and beautiful garden. Hostel has a good and relaxed vibe. Above all, Aoi the owner, is lovely, careing and makes you feel welcomed like a good friend. Can't imagine that you find any better value-for-money. Also, trips, cooking classes etc. that Aoi books for you can be trusted. Recommended.

Exzellent guest house: friendly staff, clean, good location, quiet, and nice terrace. Not for hardcore Party people, more for the relaxed kind of traveller.

The location was good, BUT: the staff was unfriendly and switched off the ventilator (there was no air condition) in the night. We booked and payed for a 4 bed room but this hostel has obviously only a dorm and assignes sleeping places accordingly to how many guest it has! Getting some sleep becomes difficult in that dorm. Cleanliness is beneath Japanes standadr (even for dorms). Pay a bit more - it is definitively worth it!
