A relatively large hostel, very clean, with a good breakfast buffet in the morning. In the evening, you can also order cheap meals in the cafe downstairs. Good WIFI, comfortable beds with individual lamps and sockets, very large lockers that are big enough to hold a small suitcase.

Very helpful staff, clean facilities, comfortable beds, an excellent hostel overall. Some reviewers seem to be concerned about the location (was safer than expected for me), but in reality the hostel is just on the edge of Tenderloin; there are some homeless people outside, but they seem to be in their own world(s). If you follow the route from the subway provided by the hostel, you should be OK. On a different note, breakfast is nice but it could do with some fruit (it's California, after all).

A nice hostel with a pleasant ambience very close to the beach, nicely decorated. WIFI works mostly downstairs, not in the rooms. Helpful English speaking stuff. Breakfast was rather delayed on a Sunday morning and I had to skip it to rush for my flight, but that's a minor issue.

It's a very comfortable hostel, with excellent breakfast (paid extra) with delicious coffee, though it's considerably more expensive that other hostels in the area. The owner is very friendly and helpful but note that she is also the only English-speaking person in the house, so if she happens not to be around, it's difficult to arrange tours or get information. There is one computer for the guests to use; WIFI didn't work when I was there.

A brand new hostel in a good location. Excellent breakfast and good value meals in the cafe. Fast WI FI. It felt pretty secure inside. Some reviewers report overflooding showers, but that wasn't part of my experience; I saw staff cleaning the showers even late in the evening. You have to pay for luggage storage (if I recally correctly, 5 EUR for a large suitcase per day), but it is a very big hostel and it might have been difficult to keep track of all bags.

A well-run hostel right in the centre of Sucre. Some of the guests seem to be students of the Spanish school located on site. Fast wifi, but only in the courtyard and not in the rooms. The location seems good only if you want to stay near the airport. It is a pity, as otherwise, the place has a lot of potential (I saw ads for trips around the area), the staff are really friendly and most of them speak good English, the place is clean, you get a towel and a soap from them. They offer airport pick-up and drop-off, which was swift and reliable in my case, but as some other reviewers have pointed out, it is rather expensive in relation to the very short distance covered.

A really nice establishment with dedicated crew. Seems to be very well-run. The cycling tour down the Swartberg pass excellent - you are given a detailed map and can visit the Cango Caves and ride an ostrich on the way back (note that it's a long tour, but it's really worth it). The furniture in the rooms a little old, but it's not a problem at all given how well and professionally run this place is.

It's difficult to find more interesting and historical location in Johannesburg area than Soweto. Bike tours are excellent, and their guides informative. I was there last winter and there were frequent electricity failures (not the hostel's fault, it's a problem in Soweto during cold days, when a lot of people use electric heaters). The airport pick-up worked fine, though it is rather expensive. On the other hand, they offer a free drop-off to the BazBus stop in Johannesburg.

A large hostel in a good location, very close to the main train station. Very tasty and filling breakfast. As many others also point out, it would be a good idea to have lockers in dorms; now you can only rent them in the reception. Possibly the best hostel to stay in Oslo, although quite far from the center of the town. Note that the hostel recommends taking a direct bus from Gardermoen airport to get there.
