I have not been to a hostel like this before, the common facilities are restricted at 130 am and people are kind of forced out into the street or bed. It feels like the bar dominates the evenings and with younger drinkers this is not always a happy ending. There is no kitchen but some food is provided during the day and evening. Breakfast was never fully out when I was there, something was always missing. Beds and bathrooms are minimalistic. One nice thing is the water conservation fixtures

Great new hostel. German efficiency? Yes. Staff were cool and knowledgeable.

A good place to rest your bones. Don't expect too much action at the hostel but there is more than enough in the city.

Overall I had a very enjoyable stay and ended up extending my reservation. Good Points: -Very professional staff, helpful, knowledgable, pretty, etc -Very clear areas, good kitchen, comfortable beds and clean bathrooms -Extra services available (bike rental, laundry etc) Not so good points (but nothing terrible): -Though security is generally good, the room doors do not auto-lock -At peak hours there is not enought hotwater for all -The lockers are a bit beat up though most people don't use TKS

Dear Robert, Thank you for leaving a review. It was a pleasure having you in Cocomama. Not sure what is your definition of 'beat up' as our lockers are brand new! The one in your room arrive 2 weeks prior to your arrival. The hot water thing got sorted out by our handy man, thank you for pointing that out. We also tell people to lock their room door after leaving, so they get now manually-locked! Safe travels! Love, Cocomama crew
