We only stayed here for about 12 hours but it was great for our purpose! We got a late flight out from Shanghai to Guilin, arrived at past midnight, and the taxi man that the hostel had arranged for us was still waiting at the airport with a sign for us, even though, due to delays, we were on the cusp of being 90 mins late!! When we got to the hostel, we had to wake up the man to let us in, but all was good and he gave us quick advice on booking the next morning's bamboo rafting to Yangshou!

Really good location easy walking distance to the main road that runs through town and therefore the nightlife area- but far enough away from the noise of it! Nice big rooms, kept clean. Lounge area downstairs was sufficiently good. Reception staff not able to communicate well enough to help with potential questions, although she did point stuff out on a map. Helps when the owner is around.

Really helpful staff and a great atmosphere! The bar area was a nice place to chill and play some pool and if you prefer to rest and read, there is another large timeout space on the 3rd floor with some really comfy seats! Food was tasty! There is a DVD player in the room and a large but not great DVD selection but you could always watch your own! Overall a great place to stay- close but far enough away from the nightlife area.

This was everything you need in a hostel - much better than the ones I've stayed in the khao San area in terms of cleanliness and facilities. Whoever made this hostel has really put some thought into what a traveller needs. It's close to Silom road, which has loads of restaurants and a 2 minute walk to Surasak BTS, which gives you easy access around the city. Great if you want to be away from khao San!free breakfast was minimal but they have more on the menu up for purchase.

Loved this hostel- it's like having a load of single beds laid out in an oldy worldy hotel room in a large mansion with high ceilings and beautiful large light fittings! We stayed in the second building, which is, I believe, where the nicer hostel rooms are. The common room is like a stately home living room with a TV and fireplace! Help yourself breakfast is good and the location is easy walking distance to the trendy Brunswick St area. Our shared bathroom was hotel-like

Really lovely hostel with a calm and friendly atmosphere. There were lots of opportunities to meet other travellers and the communal areas were a great place to chill! It was a short 7min walk to the main strip, which makes is quiet at night - stay here if you don't want to be in the middle of the noisey nightlife! Pick up from the greyhound stop was a great bonus,as was the continental breakfast for $2.50! Bathrooms were immaculately clean with a scented candle to rid any odors! Nice dorms too!

We really liked this place! The location was easily walkable to the main esplanade and the 4 bed dorm we stayed in was pretty spacious (we were actually pleased as we had booked a 6 man dorm!). The ensuite we had in the dorm was really handy and clean when we arrived - although didn't seem to be cleaned on a daily basis. The place was well secure and had a safe in reception. The only complaint is that wifi is only available in the common area and only between morning and 6pm.
