Great place to stay. Huge flat on the main street, high ceilings, wooden floor.. Big common space, fast wlan, well equipped kitchen, good beds. When we were there the door was locked and no staff was around, so we had to call someone (number on the door, took 10min for a nice guy to arrive). Staff is brilliant, the owner likes to do things with guest, eg. we had a pre party on the huge balcony and then went to to a local party. Absoluty recommendable, this place all a hostel needs!

We had a pleasent stay. The owner Francis is as mentioned very helpful and WILL give you map and introduction to Lima. He knows a lot about food/restaurants as well. The place is a house on a lively street, which is basicly clean (the shelves are a bit dusty though), has good wifi downstairs, a huge common room with flatscreen and dvds, and very hot showers. There where not too many people when we visited, so the place can feel a bit deserted... If you want to take it easy, this is your hostel.
Again, we liked our stay at The Adenture Brew. Wifi and pancake breakfast is great, as well is the security doorman. Drawback is that ine of the staff is a bit bored and not really helpful, and the shower is not too hot/takes a while to get warm. It still has a great location and is a good mix between party and a nice stay.
We couldn't stay the night because we had to decide for a Salar tour straight away. The staff was really nice with and helpful, let us use bathrooms (and the heather at the reception ;-)), etc. The place is right in the middle of all you need, basicly agencies and restaurants.
Very close to the bus station. The place is a bit rundow, but mostly clean and working! The all you can eat pancake breakfast stands out, and the free beer as well. there's one bar in the hostel building which comes close to a party hostel, and one in the BnB building, which opens later. The BnB rooms are former 2star-Hotel rooms, so they are quite spacious. Hot water works (after waiting a while), wifi is everywhere. We came back and like the place!
A good place to stay (and probably your only option). Conviniently located, it is pretty much a standard place with slow wifi, a not so well maintained but working kitchen and somehow unattentive staff. Its always about money (eg. "have you paid"?). It will do for a night or two to visit the really gorgeous islands!!
We stayed here again, with good cause. Easily one of the best hostels I have stayed in (on five continents). This time we had our luggage stored without a problem and just needed to recharge after a trek. Hot shower, refurbished and ultra clean room, comfy beds, tasty and reasonable prices food at the bar. It's all there! I will come again!
Seriously one of the best Hostels on the planet. Though it's huge, it has probably the best hot shower in South America, good Wifi, a comfy indoor court, the list is endless. The bar is lively but secluded enough to not to disturb others. I would always come back.
Overall a good place to stay. All you need is there and working (wifi, kitchen, hot water, ...). Staff is super friendly and helpful (like what to see and where to go) and always up to play table soccer! The place is a not in the newest state and you have to walk/bus a bit to the center of Miraflores. There's a tasty and cheap Chifa up the road if you arrive late!
Top place for a nap when flying to or from FRA! The best thing is the iPod/etc. lodspeaker in your room... It might lack the usual character of a hostel, but is new, clean and efficient!

Great place and I would recommend it to everyone. We had a very clean room, so was the shared bathroom, this might not be the case if the place is fully booked (?). Staff was knowledgeable about buses etc, breakfast actually not thaaat simple, wifi fast. Location is great and taxi drivers know about the place! Nothing to complain about, well, they could build a roof terrace, but that's it!
We had a double room in the new building a bit further up the road. It has just been refurbished, the room was absolutely clean, the meuzzin on the opposit side a bit too loud, staff very friendly amd the main building has good facilitiesmincluding a new roof terrace. Two min walk from tramstation Gülhane, which is essential in IST!! Would always come back here again!!

Good, safe place right in the middle (of the tourist area), but close to all POIs. Helpful staff (though not everyone at the trip desk knows what they're doing). Cleanliness good in terms of a country in southern Europe. Cool indoor court with TV, beer and people!!! The bottom line is: recommendable!
Spotless clean, secure (cctv at the door) and fun (Welcome beer, TV, people to hang out with..) hostel in a spacious palace-like apartment. Walking distance from train station, comfy beds. Big thanks to Marsha for a good time (she can recommend a couple of Falafel stalls).
Great backpacker hangout in good location with a little point off for facilities. The cool thing about this place is the front café (nice price for coffee and swedish bule) and the outside courtyard as well as the inside facilities (free internet, kitchen...). Rooms are clean and in good conditions, though the bigger ones (8-12 p dorms) are in the basement, i.e. little sunlightThe only drawback is that the toilets are scattered around the building so some are highly frequented..
Quiet Hostel with good facilities. As the name suggests it, you'll get your rest here. Kitchen is pretty well equipped and there's enough space to hang out (eg. hammocks). Rooms are very clean. A drawback is the availability of the otherwise very helpful reception staff. All places of interest are still in walking distance. So if you are just looking for a calm place to spend the night, probably going on a tour the day after, this might be your pick.
The Amanda ist nothing but a hostel - no extra features (ok, except the TV/DVD room), but the rest is average. The kitchen is kinda old and the staff sometimes might not speak a single word english... If everything else is booked out, come here to enjoy Madrid, if not, try to go elsewhere ;-)
Enough cathedrals, let's go to the beach!!! The Rising Cock is the best Hostel in Lagos, seriously!! Is has a huge living room with a flatscreen and some 50 DVDs on the harddrive (hell yeah!!), so everyone is hanging out on the huge couch! The breackfast is off-the-wall and not the typical hostel crap you get (tip: go for the upgrade!). Everyone's partying in the evening, open-minded and fun-seeking! Mama (hostel hostel's boss) cares about everyone, if you need a beach mat, ask her. If you wanna read Harry Potter on the beach, ask her!! The advertising slogan is right: this is your friend's massive beach house!!! Go there, you won't regret it!
The nicest and cleanest Hostel I've ever been to! The two roof terraces kick ass, so do the very new kitchen and a lounge! If I go to Seville a second time, I'd go there!
The Funky rules! The people make the difference here, the staff is unbelievable friendly and helpful, the guests are open-minded and party-seeking. The Paella dinner on the roof terrace is just awesome!
