Casa ZambaBem Hostel

I cannot comment on the facilities at this hostel as I never actually got to stay here!!! 2 weeks before arriving contacted the owner at the hostel to check something, just to be told he had made a mistake with the price and he had given our room to someone else! They took our desposit and never refunded it. Apparently when you book "Hostelworld is ust as a facilitator for rent, not an administrator of the hostel. They need our permission to book & you do too" - Email from ZambaBem

Great little hostel. We stayed here for 3 nights and the price of the room includes a private pick up from Guatemala airport. The lady who runs the hostel is very sweet and cooks you your own breakfast every morning (again included in the price). The rooms are fairly small and basic, but clean and there is a great roof terrace that gets sun all day long. Only downside is that it is quite noisy, due to being near a main road and the children that live below (don't expect a lay-in)!

A cool trendy hostel, which has got all the good stuff needed and is also kept really clean. The only downside is there are 14 beds in each dorm, even though it says its 8 bed when booking.
