This is a standard IYHA hostel, we stayed in a few of these in Israel, they are all very clean, with good big dorm rooms, however there is no character about the place and its not a great place to meet people. If not interested in atmosphere, this is an ideal hostel. Some of the staff were very helpful others were pretty rude.

A really brilliant hostel, the place has a fantastic atmosphere, the staff were all very friendly and informative and the story of the history of the hotel and free walking tour really make the place stick out as a memorable hostel. Would recommend to anyone to visit this Fauzi Azar.

Panorama Hotel

Tiberias, Israel

If visiting Tiberius, the Panorama is a really good budget option. The staff were very friendly and helpful, giving us great advise on places of interest in and around the town which we would not have found ourselves. Location is excellent, right beside the beach and a few minutes walk from the bars and restaurants. Our room was clean and secure, exactly what we wanted for this price.

Arava Hostel

Eilat, Israel

Really good budget option for a stay in Eilat. Our room was a little small, but had en suite and was clean and comfortable. All facilitates come with a small fee but I found the prices very reasonable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a car so getting around the town was easy, without this most places, beach, restaurants would be a taxi ride away.

The Green Backpackers

Mitzpe Ramon, Israel

Possibly the friendliest hostel in Israel. The staff here go out of their way to make your stay here as enjoyable as possible. We stayed over Shabbat, so the staff organised a shared dinner where everyone in the hostel cooked a dish and shared with the group. A very small hostel so even if only staying for a day or two you will fin yourself getting talking to all the other guests. The staff are also very informative on how to best spend your time in Mizpe Ramon. Rooms are clean & cosy.

Like other IYHA hostels not a great place for getting talking to other travellers, however our room was a good size very clean and had a balcony with views over the Dead Sea. The breakfast is very good and the staff were very friendly and informative. 15 minutes walk to the beach and right next to the Nature Reserve which is well worth a visit. A very good budget option.

Abraham Hostel Jerusalem

Jerusalem, Israel

A brilliant hostel in Jerusalem. I loved everything about my stay there. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. My room was a good size and very clean. The common areas were super for meeting other backpackers and the tours and night out were all very well organised. Wouldn't think of staying anywhere else if I was back in Jerusalem.
