This place is a goldmine! The staff are simply the best and do everything for your comfort. They even have beds at the back for when you arrive at 4am from a night bus to rest.

This place is a goldmine! Great comfortable beds and clean rooms with AC. Breakfast is ok, home dinners every night and free beer at 5pm-6pm is a nice touch! Best part is the staff... who do everything to make you enjoy it. There are also beds when you arrive at 5am from a night bus to rest!

Great helpful staff, can book everything through them. Expect a 20 minute or more walk to the beach. No keys given so our rooms are always unlocked, good for budget travellers.

Stayed in 3 different places in Singapore and this was by far the best! Great breakfast, fantastic staff, very clean and really comfortable beds. Good AC and fantastic location for walking to Marina Sands and China Town. Recomended! Thanks again :)

Nice staff, nice breakfast. You have to get used to the all in 1 shower and toilet combination - recurring thing around Asia. Decent AC in rooms, but just pot luck with what your other 12 roommates are. Unfortunately for me, mine were very inconsiderate and left to another hostel, shame. Otherwise nice place!

Brand new hostel with so much potential. The beds are comfortable and warm, bedrooms are clean and cosy. Wifi, lockers, drinking water and 24 hour reception. Only thing when we arrived was they had a messed up system and ended up having 5 people in a 4 bed-dorm. Hope they sort it soon... still a great stay! Recommend.

Very average hostel. Heating and basic facilities. No breakfast. Security was so good we were locked out of our room.... something about not having enough key cards for everyone? Need to pay to use baggage storage. Did nothing to make me want to come back.

Great hostel for its value! I had really low expectations but was pleasently suprised. Great omelettes for breakfast with a fantastic view of the city from the kitchen area. Free tea all day and FREE walking tours. Very comfortable beds and fast wifi. Enforcing quiet hours on the weekends is all I recommend - some people have tours on Sundays too! Enjoyed our stay so much we came back after machu Picchu.

The best sleep in the comfortable beds I've had in 7 months of travelling! Incredible staff, upgraded us from a dorm to private room for free when they accidently overbooked. Great facilities, clean, modern and homely - definately a home away from home! Originally booked 1 night but ended up staying for 4. Peaceful and easy to sleep in this quite part of town if party hostels aren't your thing. Even let us leave our luggage for 2 days while we went to see the salt flats!

Abit skeptical when booking this from previous reviews but I thought I'd kept an open mind. No kitchen facilities, the social spaces were disgusting. The toilets have no seats or toilet roll or WATER to wash your hands. Not to mention it's shared with the club downstairs?! Showers do have warm water, but only one at a time. The worse is the beds, if lumpy matresses and pillows are your thing. The room stinks. Noise is atrocious - especially from the 4am guitar playing hippies. Expect no sleep.

Was abit sceptical due to some reviews. But this is a great hostel with great facilities right on the beach front. Has good social spaces around the hostel. Quietens down at night so you can have a good night sleep. Beds are new and super comfortable. Cleanliness could be improved but hard due to heavy foot traffic from the beach. Many flies in the kitchen. But staff do thier best.

TOPNOTCH location! Overlooking Plaza De Arms with the sunset and a bottle of wine trumps the fact that it's quite loud at night and the 3 mixed showers are see through! A cute white cat stays there too, which is kinda scary when it enters your room at night.

A great affordable hostel in a quaint location 1 block away from a huge supermarket. We enjoyed the peace and quiet here and nice walks around the parks. Easy to get to bus into other areas. However our room didn't havnt a door, more like a sliding shutter... which for 12 people isn't very convenient. The kitchen is small and not enough space to prepare food and eat with no indoor seating areas. Tv room is great though!

Mediocre hostel in a great location. The entrance is annoying always having to buzz to get in, showers are filthy and stank of sewage water. There's no doors to the women's bathroom. Breakfast is homemade bread with jam. Kitchen is tiny. Not much space for relaxing. Ok for the price but wouldn't stay here again. We moved to another hostel for the other 2 nights of our stay.

Great hostel with cool areas to hang out including 2 tv rooms, computers, pool table and garden area. Bedrooms are ok although we had some very inconsiderate roommates. Should be more bathrooms. Breakfast was average. Location was good to relax and walk into town without the hussle and bussle.

Hey Guys, Thank you for taking the time to leave a kind review. All apologies for the inconsiderate guests. Sometimes people lack a bit of common sense and respect. I hope you enjoy the rest of your travels. All the Best, Brian

This is the best hostel I have stayed in the whole of Central America! This homely atmosphere with spacious and peaceful surroundings gives every traveller a great place to lay thier heads. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, bar, pool table, tv, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and a breakfast buffet (fruits, plantin, cereals, pancakes, toast, eggs, variety of spreads and coffee) is unbeatable! We stayed an extra few days because we enjoyed it so much! Exceptional staff +++

This place is disgusting. The sheets wernt clean from previous guests, the beds were mouldy, the kitchen was repulsive and the communal areas felt grotty. There are no locks on the front gate or even on our bedroom, the door didn't even close. Staff was friendly and helpful but otherwise I wouldn't recomend and would not return. There's a cheaper hostel 1 block down which seems nicer! Needs a serious update and properly looking after.

Great hostel with relaxing atmosphere. Clean all round and free pancake and banana or eggs on toast breakfast. Cooking facilities are great and has a cute pet kitten playing around! There's a garden area and tours to the volanco available which were the best price around. Great staff however the rooms were baking. Well recommended.

Top homely hostel in the middle of town close to the markets. A little hard to find, which makes it all the safer. The rooftop had a great view, facilities are mediocre, just basic amenities. But the staff are great and treat you like family! We left on xmas eve so missed out on xmas dinner the owner cooked for everyone! Totally recommend +

I am confused to how this place has such high reviews. There are only 2 showers between the whole hostel. The kitchen area is great and clean, but my room was disgusting. The place has alot of unused space which I think could have lots of potential. Needs a bit of a tidy up and upgrade. Staff was awesome though, and cooked me a delicious breakfast!

This is a building that had divided it's floors for hotel and hostal purposes. I stayed in the hostal floor for $150 pesos a night - very cheap! It's not very busy so I got a whole room and hostel floor to myself. Very clean, kitchen area, great bathrooms, lockers and drinking water. My room had a balcony. In great location. There was always a security guard so felt safe. Needs AC though. GREAT STAFF let me check in 5 hours early after an overnight bus. Highly recomend!!

This is by far the best hostel I've stayed in, based on price, location, staff friendliness, cleanliness, comfort and facilities. In fact.. I'm struggling to find a fault. The staff are very friendly and speak English. We recieved on a complimentary watermelon juice during check in. Location is perfect, you can see the cathedral from the breakfast table. Breakfast is more than dry bread like most hostels, and changes everyday. AC is perfect temperature to not wake up cold. HIGHLY RECOMENDED +
