Lovely hostel- very hipster- nice staff, good internet and good vibe. Well located just off the main shopping street in Sofia. But VERY overpriced for Bulgaria. You are paying almost twice the normal rate. They also need to upgrade some of the facilities and locks and maybe have extra bathrooms. For the price they are charging you should expect a modern boiler so the hot water in the shower doesnt run out after 3 minutes. .
Very good hostel- good dorm sizes, clean, nice staff, good location BUT I stayed in Wombats Berlin too and they both have the same problem- lack of atmosphere and socialising- maybe they need some sort of activities to bring people together in the big bar downstairs. Thankfully I knew some people in Vienna because it would have been very hard to meet people here as a solo traveler.
Good location, clean. Not very social. They charge an extra 2 euros for sheets which is ridiculous and obviously just another way to push up their earnings. I dont like such underhand additions- its like a Ryanair flight.
Great hostel for the atmosphere, small and personal. Everyone starts drinking in the evening then head to town to continue the night. Close to the beach also.

Really nice place, a bit big and inpersonal though. Liked the pool and saunda! Think the nightclub/resturant and bar in the basement acts as a disincentive for people to go out and experience Florence which is what they should be doing! And you dont use cash- you load up money on a card which can take ages when there are other people in front of you.
Had a great time in the Loft. Really laid back place.
This hostel sets the standard for all around the world. I first was suspicious because I couldnt believe any hostel could have so many good comments but it really is smazing. really arty decor, good food, nice locations, spotless. I will defintely come back to this wonderful place. Phil, Edinburgh
