Pretty nice hostel. Bit more on the expensive side, especially given the room size and quality. That said it's a decent place to stay. Maybe try find somewhere cheaper tho unless everywhere else is booked (as in my case)

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments:and for your overall score of 80%. 10 out of 10 for cleanliness is always very much appreciated. You paid us £9.24 on check in, which is very cheap for a city centre hostel bed, so I am not sure I understand your "on the expensive side" comment: but I am pleased we were able to provide a clean, safe, staffed 24-7 place for you to stay on a very busy night in Belfast. Safe travels. David

Stayed here during the Edinburgh fringe as it was one of the only ones available. Had to pay ridiculous amounts for a single night, so was in a bad mood already, and then the staff were not as friendly as expected for a £50 hostel. Rooms were indeed nice, and ensuite was nice, but for the price it had its flaws and should've been better. This place is nice and very modern and secure but it costs way more than it should and isn't that friendly or central. I won't be back- stay somewhere cheaper.

I've stayed in lots of hostels in London, and this one, although the cheapest by far, is better than a lot of more expensive ones. Rooms are very open and there is lots of space. Kitchen is great, and has a great atmosphere - lots of people working in London stay here but it still seems to be a great place to meet people if you're a backpacker. Everyone is happy to chat. Plus lots of darts and beer!

Nice little hostel - good brekky, warm vibes, great movies! Nice staff and great location (the area looks a little run down, so beware if you're arriving late at night, but then again I was in the area for a long while at night and I never felt unsafe or saw any trouble). Definitely the best hostel in Birmingham, does it's job well. Would recommend. Also it's literally right next door to the central bus station.

Really cool place, a lot of smokers but not like some of the comments say. Just smells if you're standing next to the outdoor smoking area. The showers don't change temperature and are scalding hot, so I never ended up showering which is a piece of sh** but ok. Kitchen and everything else was good. Rooms were bloody overcrowded like you couldn't even walk, and the curtains in the rooms are so creepy. But you get used to that and often the privacy is great. Each bed has its own light & outlet!

Hi Jack, thanks for taking the time to review us. We have address the issues with the showers and they are now at a better temperature. Hope you'll choose to stay with us again. Regards, Home London.

Breakfast was ok, bunks were ok, very hot during the day and showers were kind of annoying (the single button ones). Pretty good area and people. Some old couples visiting also, but no creepy old dudes living there from what I saw.

Really good value to stay, bit of a journey to get to and I wouldn't rock up after dark - it's in a pretty scary area. That said though, for the price, the kitchen and bathrooms were perfect, it wasn't too crowded or loud. And the staff were pretty helpful. If you're on a budget come here, the money you save on accomodation will easily pay for all the train fares you'll use to get in and out of the city, and you'll be left with extra savings to spend on lunch etc. Perfect!

Check in was a little delayed so they gave us all free pints - which made my day. Everyone was super nice. Some reviews say there are a couple old regulars hanging at the pub, they are just a couple old harmless people who sit down with a pint and watch the TV. Watched the whole of Jaws with a bunch of travellers and one old regular and yeah it just felt like a very friendly and warm place to be. And if you're happy to walk then it's not too far out, plus the train is next door.

Very clean and very nice rooms, I felt like I was undercharged given how nice the rooms are. The kitchen sucked though (just a microwave, sink and a fridge) so couldn't cook some stuff. Other than that the bathrooms and reception and everything was very clean and good looking and very pleasant. Location isn't too bad, right next to a train station, a night club, a supermarket and even the Berlin Wall. Would recommend.

Nice place. Not the best value for money. Your probably paying more for the location, and to be honest, Berlin is so huge that you'll have to get public transport regardless of where you are, so you might as well get a nicer cheaper one. The bar is cool and everything was very clean and well built. But the bar kinda sucked; the "special" €1 shots weren't really shots and it's really not a good place to meet people. Really nice location though. Really cool shops in the area.

Thank you for your comments, guests feedback is important to us as it gives us a chance to improve the hostel experience for future guests. We are sorry to hear you didn't enjoy our lively bar, our €1 shots are a liquor called Berliner Luft, they are made in locally Berlin and we recommend to try them. For those that prefer a more common shot we also have Jägermeister for just €1.50. Enjoy the rest of your trip. St. Christopher's Berlin Team.

Loved this place. It's one of the best and cheapest hostels I've ever stayed in. Breakfast was good and cheap. Met awesome people and the staff were super nice and relaxed. Great for young people and solo travellers. Situated around a courtyard with a heap of beautiful balconies where you can cook and eat your food. Very communal atmosphere. Met lots of good people and made friends. Very easy to stay in all night drinking with everyone!

Rooms were great and clean. Had a huge balcony and a great shower. The place is infested with mosquitoes though but I was fine. You probably won't meet many other travelers here as it's more of a hotel vibe. Also the wifi only works in the common room. There's a great supermarket down the street though. And it's only a short bus trip to the town.

The showers were disgusting - walls covered in grime and the drains clogged with hair. Half the toilets were clogged, had no toilet paper, or were missing locks (only one of the girls showers locked so I had to guard my friend). No power outlets in the tent. There was a stain on my sheets which were handed to me half opened upon arrival. Place looked and felt like war camp. It's up a HUGE hill from the city which kills if you have a pack. The view is beautiful tho. Perfect if you have a trailer.

Perfect location, great room - aircon, beautiful balcony and very clean. (Some broken pipes but nothing awful) Breakfast was just a croissant which personally I don't like, but it's still quite nice if you want that sort of hotel experience. Not good at all for meeting people as it's kinda like a hotel (no common room or anything like that), but I stayed with a friend and had an amazing time eating pizza on the balcony and basking in the glory of the aircon. Overall it's great value for money.

For what you pay it's a great deal. Its a trek away from the city though which makes you not want to stay in Rome past dark, and if you're in the tents it's like a sauna in there until sunset. Quite clean, great pool and restaurant on site. Staff are helpful but it's kinda got that big company vibe - not great if you're looking to hang out with other backpackers. Also there's no kitchen and there's old dudes living there who creeped me out a bit, some of them are nice. Good supermarket next door
