Amber Tree Lodge Backpackers

Cape Town, South Africa

Amber Tree was a beautiful and convenient place to stay in Cape Town. Close to public transit on a nice quiet side street near to groceries, restaurants and shops. The hostel was comfortable and felt like home. Steven is the coolest guy I've ever met and provides a warm welcoming environment & is very knowledgeable in everything that a traveler/tourist should experience while in CT. The outstanding views of Table Mountain from the upstairs balcony in the morning are priceless.

Reykjavik City Hostel was very nice. The kitchens were great and very nice because food costs so much in Iceland! The staff is very helpful and even though the location is outside the city center, is right next to the pool and isn't a far walk from town.

Location close to restaurants, shopping and public transportation. Has TV with bad reception for most channels. No HBO. Cheap parking available. Room never cleaned during 3 days of stay. Room generally shabby and small, but cheap so what are you going to do. Noisy area. Overall, probably good value for the money.
