Dar Atta

Marrakech, Morocco

Dar Atta staff were quite friendly and the dar is located near the medina. The breakfast was excellent. However, the decor and paintwork are rather tired; I had expected more traditional arts and crafts. Overall I was disappointed given the rave reviews on Hostelworld.

Riad Chakir Mogador

I cannot praise Riad Chakir Mogador too highly. It is beautiful, a treasure trove of Moroccan applied arts and crafts, each room totally distinctive. It is spotlessly clean, comfortable and extremely welcoming. Perfectly situated, within the medina. Excellent breakfast. Great value for money

Danubio Hostel

I found this an excellent place to stay. I had a single room which was very clean, simple, quite elegant, high ceilinged. The hostel is located downtown, really close to the stop for the buses to and from the airport. Tea and coffee and an iron and ironing board are provided. The hostel is quiet and peaceful. Note: one must notify management in advance of estimated time of arrival as there is no resident receptionist.

This hostel is in an excellent location, very near the rail station, the waterfront and downtown. The manager, Sergio, was most helpful.
