Hostal Laskar

San Pedro de Atacama, Chile

The directions to the hostel are a little hard to follow as there are not a lot of street signs between there and the bus station. We really liked the outdoor areas, especially at night when they light the fire. As it is winter, it was pretty cold inside and there didn't appear to be any heating, but despite that it was a good place to stay.

Antarctica Hostel

Ushuaia, Argentina

The place was cozy and pretty descent but it is starting to look like it has had one too many busy summers. The guys bathroom needed a really good scrub and all the toilet seats need replacing. It's close to the city centre which is handy and they have a really good map with information about the area. The lockers in the rooms are a good size and the beds were comfortable. One big downside if you are staying upstairs is that you have to go through the common areas to use the bathroom.

Riad Massine II

Marrakech, Morocco

After a busy day out there is nothing better than coming back to the hostel and having a beer on the roof terrace while the sun sets. The location is superb and the staff are so friendly and helpful.

Astra Hotel (OLD)

Sliema, Malta

The only complaint is the deposit. I would assume that the deposit I pay to hostelworld comes off the bill when I pay at the hotel. Twice now I have been places and they do not take the deposit off and then say that the deposit is not for them and refuse to take it off the bill. If this is correct then you need to let people know on your website in bold print as it means the rooms are more expensive than quoted on your site. Otherwise a good place to stay for the price.
