I was recommended to this hostel by a friend, though I should have trusted the reviews on the site and booked another one. The hostel is ok, but nothing more than that, it has no personality, and the facilities are pretty average, with internet not working most of the time. The owners apparently change all the time, and those currently managing the place are very nice, but they don't know the backpacker needs, so no atmosphere. It is a place for families rather than for backpackers.
The location is just perfect, behind the church and on top of the cliff overlooking the ocean (tip: if you want to watch the sunset, just wake up and get out, the viewpoint is one minute from the hostel). The breakfast was good and the staff was super nice. The only thing was the door of the dorm - if you closed it from inside, the ones outside could not open it, if you closed it from the outside you locked in those who were inside. So when the dorms are full it's not too practical.
Very good facilities, and the owners are very nice and helpful. It is quite far away from the center though (but in a good and safe neighbourhood), though that may be a good thing if you want to stay at the beaches and don't feel the need to be close to everything.
Hostel was good, halfway between the bus station and the historical city center. It was almost empty when we were there, so the atmosphere wasn't terriffic, but the staff were really nice. Very clean.

The location is the best thing in this hostel - right across the street from the bus station. Otherwise, pretty average. Facilities so and so (internet only in the lobby, not working too well, but this may be an issue for the entire town; bathroom door wouldn't close, the lockers either) and big, impersonal hostel vibe.
Hostel was ok. Close to both train and bus stations. Clean, comfy beds.
Perfectly located in the heart of the city, really nice staff, good facilities. Room was silent even though the hostel is located close to all the nightlife, which is a major plus. Maybe it would help adding another sentence to the directions, to make them more clear and complete. It's not complicated once you've been there once, but the first time it can be a bit daunting to find the right address. Otherwise, perfect! Would definitely stay there again.
The guesthouse is located on a hill facing the old town of Korcula (so not in the old town itself), less than five minutes from the main square. The facilities are good and the owner is really nice (he waited for me at the main square the day of my arrival, cooked dinner for his guests the second evening, he really tries to make you feel good in his guesthouse).
Well, the room was a bit stuffy and poorly lit, but I guess it is like this if you stay in the historical area of Kotor. Location is just PERFECT and the staff are really helpful.
The location is PERFECT, in a historical building in the old town, close to the entrance. I liked my room, spacious, well lit, comfy. The owner is great, the rest of the staff are ok.
Strongly recommended. Taso is the best hostel owner I've met.
Facilities are WOW. Location is very good. Staff is helpful. Very good value for money. Would stay there again.
In the heart of Guimaraes with a fantastic view from the dorms. Excellent facilities. Hostel was new, so I was the only guest. But that was in April, a bit off season. Rather noisy on weekends, as it is right above a bar. Otherwise, a good option.
Good points: facilities, design of the hostel, the owners. Negatives: a bit far away from center, but that can be a positive if you really want to experience life in a normal residential neighbourhood. Not too much of an atmosphere.
Jasmina is an excellent host and makes you feel welcome in her little hostel. The hostel si clean and its location within walking distance from the bus station and the museums makes it perfect if you arrive late at night or depart early in the morning. However, think twice if you want to book this hostel during winter time, as the apartment has no heading whatsoever and it is really cold.

The room was a bit cold and there were no lockers inside, but overall the hostel was ok, very well located near the historical center and easy to reach from the bus station. The staff was nice, wi-fi is good.
The hostel was empty when I was there, nevertheless the owner is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, warm, spacious, good facilities. I recommend this place in Banja Luka.
Perfect hostel just a short walk from the bus and the train stations, clean, good wi-fi, staff was very helpful. Also, they have two incredibly friendly cats!
The room was dark and crowded and the internet signal was weak. Staff was ok. Clean.
Loved the hostel, the staff was excellent, all clean and safe, with a nice atmosphere, good location within the historical center of Seville.
Loved the hostel, would definitely return.
Perfect hostel for those who do not necessarily seek to party. Spotlessly clean, cozy, well lit, good wi-fi, extremely helpful staff. Really no negative points. Not exactly in the city center though not far from it either (10 min walk), this is not really a downside in Cusco, as you get to stay in an area where shops and restaurants have normal prices. I stayed here more than one week, actually.
Not as bad as I thought it would be (I'm not the party hostel type, but the quiet hostels were not available those nights so I booked at Wild Rover). Breakfast is included even in the first day of your arrival (if it's in the morning), so that was a nice surprise. Rooms were quite noisy but I did get to sleep. Wi-fi was alright-ish.
A good alternative to the noisy party hostels of La Paz. Rooms are spotlessly clean, well-lit, staff is friendly. Wi-fi is allright, sometimes a bit slow but I guess that's a problem in all the hostels of La Paz. Location is good. I would stay there again.
More a hotel than a hostel. Don´t expect atmosphere. Staff was ok. Wi-fi downstairs, not in the rooms. Close to bus station.
The hostel has HEATING!!!! This is priceless when you come back from the salt flats tour, where it´s freezing. Other than this, it´s ok, central location, lockers, etc. would stay there again if I were back to Uyuni.
Party hostel. Staff are nice, but the hostel itself isn´t, dirtier than others, no locker in the room, dorm was dark and messy. When I came back to Arica I did not stay in this hostel anymore.
One of the best hostels I have stayed in during my trip, though not the cheapest in Iquique. Clean, good breakfast, excellent staff, can be quiet if you want it or you can mingle with other travellers at their asados. My room had lots of light and space, good lockers. Ended up staying 8 nights and will go back. Cannot really think of a bad thing about this hostel.
After several weeks of crappy hostels, I was finally happy to see clean, warm, comfortable rooms and hot showers! Breakfast is good as well. Staff was nice, I stayed there for the 1st of May and they taught me to prepare empadanas and invited me to have lunch with them. On the negative side, you may find it a bit boring if you're looking for fun, and it is also more expensive than other hostels you could find in Salta. Internet worked well only in the dining room.
It is far from center and this is a problem when you have to leave the hostel or come back at night, as there are some stray dogs in the area. I did come back late, though, and it was fine. Rooms are crammed and dark. Some of the staff is friendly. Hot water was not the norm, but I did have it one day. My flip flops and my phone went missing. My fault, as I forgot my phone in the dorm, but still. No lockers, but you could leave valuables at the reception.
Good value for money. Free dinner on the first day was a good surprise! Breakfast is poorer than in other hostels. Very good location, at 5 mins walk from one of the main underground stations, in a good area. Rooms are ok, not too crammed. Internet not in all hostel, but in the common areas it is working fine. I would stay there again.
Hostel was ok, breakfast was very good (ham & cheese sandwich, in addition to the classics - milk, cereals, jam), location was fine, close to the terminal, but rather far from the tourist areas and in an area that seemed a bit suspicious looking at night. I arrived there one night at about 2 am alone and nothing happened, though. Staff was helpful.
I stayed here three times, in various rooms. It really depends on your luck, as some of the dorms are very nice, spacious and well lit, while others are crammed and with no natural light. Staff is helpful though, location is good, breakfast is average, internet is good in some locations, not in others. This is a big hostel, so if you prefer smaller cozier hostels it may not be your type.
I'm so glad I found this guesthouse! Everything was perfect during my stay, very nice staff, amazing breakfast, as many mangos as I could eat from the mango tree in the yard, extremely clean, and cheap by Easter Island standards. I wish I could return on the island, I would surely stay there again.
The hostel is good, a bit too big for my taste but ok and I like the location. Staff was halpful in booking me a transfer to the airport. Other than this, it doesn't have anything particularly amazing, the dorm I stayed was pretty small and it had no natural light, you had to open the bathroom door (bathroom had window) to be able to actually see something.
Hostel is good, quite cozy, staff is nice and they also have several tours you can take.
Hostel is good, nothing special, but a good hostel.
I don't like to give a 100% review, but I'm trying to find bad points for this hostel and I cannot. It is perfectly located, rooms are spacious, well lit, beds are huge & comfy, kitchen is good, staff is extremely nice. View from the terrace is great. Highly recommended.
Staff was very nice. Hospedaje quite far from city center, even though Punta Arenas is rather small. Also, note that this is not a hostel, but an hospedaje, this means that you are living in the family's house (restrictions on using the kitchen etc).
I couldn't believe the location of this hostel - I arrived in Ushuaia at 11 pm and I only had to walk two blocks from the bus station, it was perfect! Staff was partly nice, partly average (I was greeted with "hi, you have to pay ...", I guess there are other ways to welcome guests, even if the hostel policy is to pay upfront), but others at the reception were great. I LOVED the huge kitchen. The hostel is quite big, so if you are looking for a cozy atmosphere it is not here that you'll find it.
Hostel was good, staff was ok, the location is just PERFECT, two blocks from the terminal, I had to take a bus at 3 a.m. and simply walked there without any problem. El Calafate is not huge anyway so it's only about 10 min walk from the main tourist road.
Excellent hostel, with extremely friendly staff, rooms are modern, cozy and comfortable, good facilities. It is not in the center of El Bolson (about half an hour walk) but on the other hand you have the views and feel like you're in the countryside. I wish I had the time to stay more, I really enjoyed it.
The hostel is just perfect! I looooved the magnificent views of the lake and the spacious, sunny common room. Staff have plenty of advice on what to do in the area and can even make a reservation for a bike to do the Circuito Chico. The kitchen is spacious and clean. If you go there make sure you take the bus from the station until km 4.7 (at the information desk in the terminal they told me to go to km 4 so I had to walk for a while with the heavy backpack) and take the road up.
Excellent hostel, room was spacious, they had a terrace, kitchen with good facilities, very clean. Staff was very nice. I would stay there again.
It was ok, nothing special. The lockers in the room cannot be locked. Room was tiny and dark, a bit depressing. Hostel not in the center, but San Juan is small so you don't have to walk for too long. Close to a supermarket, though. Staff was ok.
This was my second stay. My initial opinion (very good) has not changed at all. I would come back.
Staff was very nice. Facilities are ok, hostel is not memorable in itself, a bit dirty actually, but being located in Punta del Diablo definitely helps.
The bottom beds were a bit uncomfortable as the top beds are too low and you don't even have the space to sit in your own bed. There was only one power socket in a 10-bed dorm. This is a party hostel, they played music at a high volume until late in the night. Other than this it was fine.
Great location, good security, very clean and spacious room. The best thing about the hostel was the staff. If you're there on a Sunday make sure you do not miss the street drumming where Arturo will take you.
The stay was just purrrfect! Rooms are spacious, clean, the hostel is perfectly located not too far from the bus station (so you don't have to walk for long) but not too far from the city center either. And the staff was extremely friendly, they made me discover some Uruguayan singers that I totally love.
Excellent hostel. I stayed in an 8 bed female dorm, and was surprised to see I have plenty of space and privacy (they even have curtains between the beds). Bedroom was cozy and sunny. Staff was super helpful. Location is ok in Khao San area, close to the main tourist attractions. Note however that there is no subway anywhere near Khao San, so if you prefer a hostel in a region with easy access to the underground train you might want to search for a hostel in another district.
The room was just huuuuuuuge, and the beds were not bunk beds. I loved that! Staff was very helpful, but breakfast is a bit too late (starts at 8.30 in theory). I had a plane to catch at 11 am, so I had to head to the airport early in the morning. At 8.30 breakfast was not ready yet (as it was supposed to be), and there was some guy sleeping in the cafeteria. The person at the reception offered to make breakfast for me, but it was a bit too late. Just let them know if you need breakfast earlier.
The rooms are a bit tiny, and the lockers are small. Nice rooftop terrace. At night the bathroom did not have any running water. The place was clean. I had breakfast. Decent.
So and so. Staff was nice. But it was clear that the hostel is only starting, the room was not fully furbished. Bathroom was not 100% clean and the hot water is upon request if you're not arriving in the morning. No lockers in the room or key to the room.
The hostel is OK. Very clean, spacious rooms, with windows. Staff are usually helpful. The kitchen is quite tiny and there are only two bathrooms for the whole hostel, so expect to queue for toilets in the morning. Location is in the historical town. They were improving the rooms, i.e. the first time I stayed I did not have the key and some of the lockers were unusable, but the second time it was remediated. I would stay there again. Not fantastic if you're into heavy partying, though.
One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. Secure, spotlessly clean, never had to queue for bathroom in a whole week, nice and helpful staff, liked the kitchen, free internet, common room, really, there was no single bad thing about it, except, perhaps the fact that the rooms generally don't have a window and it lacks some character. Otherwise, perfect. I loved the tours as well.
Excellent hostel, located rather close to the most spectacular beaches (just take a map and figure out the shortcuts) and to a supermarket that was open until 9 pm on a Saturday, staff was great, breakfast was very good for a hostel (ham and cheese in addition to the usual choice of spreads), the atmosphere was perfect. The only downside is that the showers & toilet are a bit crammed.
Hostel was ok, nothing special. rooms were tiny but clean, it's the center of Barcelona so don't expect any natural light. The location was excellent, five minutes walking from Casa Batllo. Breakfast was the usual - cereals, toast with jam.

The taking shoes off the entrance of the building was a bit annoying. Other than this, really nice character, despite being a large hostel, good breakfast (you actually get a ham / cheese sandwich + juice), location in the center.
It was a bit difficult to sleep as the fan made much noise, but overall it was ok, clean, the staff was helpful, it looked like a fun hostel (though I had some problems and was not really in the mood for participating in their activities)
very clean, nice bathrooms, rooftop terrace is really nice. However, for those that don\'t know Sevilla, Triana is not exactly in the very center of the city (it\'s very close, though, to the major sites), so beware.
Hostel is in the very heart of Belgrade, nice, clean, friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent hostel, the owner was one of the nicest I\'ve met, everything was clean and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Would definitely stay there again if I returned to Novi Sad.
Hostel located in beautiful old town. Rooms were clean, though not ensuite, as written on the website. Quite noisy, though, as the ground floor of the building is a club (hostel is at the first floor) with loud music in the evening and no isolation in the rooms whatsoever. Other than that, no specific issues. I don't know if I would stay there again.
Rooms were just GREAT, spacious and well lit; hostel also had a balcony, but unfortunately I could not use it because of the weather. However, on sunny days it must be a great place to relax. Staff was really nice, everything was spotlessly clean, nice kitchen and showers. Only problem is that they did not have security lockers in the room; the place did feel extremely safe, but if I were traveling with laptop or fancy gadgets, I\'d be a bit wary about leaving them in the room for the day.
Hostel very secure, and surprisingly quiet to sleep, even though in red light district. Nice toilets and showers. Good breakfast for 4 eur. You can rent laptops and have internet for free. However, as they mention, it IS in the red light district, so do expect a lot of people of a questionable aspect around. I had no problems, nobody picked on me, but it did feel that it could be unsafe, especially at night and if you\'re alone. Other than that, really great hostel!
Nice hostel, lots of activities organized, though I was there for a too short time to form an opinion. Breakfast offered. Overall, a good value for money deal.
Room was a bit small for 4, but oh well. Building had a bit of an unpleasant smell. Excellent location, clean for a hostel, staff was great. Would stay there again.
Had worries at first as I was staying in 14 bed dorm, and bathroom was common for men and women. The room turned out to be huge, the lockers had keys (no need to bring own padlock) and a safe. Location excellent, just below the castle. The tower and shower facilities, though common, provided sufficient privacy and were clean. Great common room. Cozy atmosphere.
Hostel is new, so parts of it are in construction - common room etc. Very clean, room (I had an ensuite) had excellent bathroom facilities. Good location.
nice hostel, cheap, close to train station, very easy to find and within walking distance from center (10 min, a nice walk). Staff was very helpful and friendly, gave me a map and a city guide, gave me suggestions about what to see, where to eat etc. I had an ensuite room, bathroom was good, clean. Maybe if it had been a bit warmer in the room, it would have been better.
Really nice owner-managed hostel in a two-bedroom appartment, one with 2 beds the other with 4. So if you want a big hostel in which to meet plenty of new people, maybe not for you. I didn\'t, so it was perfect for my needs. Mr Novak was really helpful, he waited for me at the metro station and recommended lots of things to do in Prague. Everything was spotlessly clean. Bed was comfy. I really had a great stay, would come back!
Good points: nice staff, clean rooms. Bad points: room on ground floor with big windows overlooking two streets, no curtains that would give any privacy. Bathroom only for men, doors of both toilet and showers could not be closed, let alone locked. Doors of shower cabins completely transparent. Luckily the staff let me use a bathroom of a private room. Windows of my room could not be fully closed, so room cold and very noisy. No lockers. Unusable kitchen. No common room. Access with key not card
I stayed in a 3-bed female dorm. It was I think one of the best dorms I've ever stayed at - clean, carpet on the floor, you could turn the heating inside the room to the level you wanted. The dorm was situated in a "girls' loft", which was an appartment with 2 dorms and it had its own kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom was great - lots of space, clean, well lit. And right in front of an underground station. Great value for money!
Nice atmosphere in the hostel! Couldn't use the lockers, though, as they were in a heavy wooden box under the bed, directly on the carpet. Putting the boxes on wheels so they can actually be taken out and used might be good!
The hostel in quite far away from the center, at the last metro station of the U4 line. So the location is not particularly handy, but it's easy to reach and it's in a really safe area. There's also a supermarket nearby. Staff is OK, although it took about an hour to queue for the check-in - and there were only 10 people before me. Breakfast is good - and you can eat as much as you want, there are really no restrictions on that. Cleanliness is the strongest point for the hostel.
