Very close to Taksim, which is nice. There can be a bit of a line for the showers in the morning, so if you're in a hurry plan on showering early or the night before. No locks on the dorm doors, so be careful with your stuff.

This is in a more residential area rather than right in the tourist center. It's within about an hour walking of the Acropolis, but not super close. It can be quite hard to find, as there is no sign on the door, but once you have figured out where it is, it's not a bad place to stay. Did have to pay 50 euro cents for 7 minutes of hot water in the shower. They have a washing machine available for around five euro per load, but the dryer is broken so you need to hang dry your laundry.

Within the old city center, but a bit of a walk from the waterfront and the main sites. Still, a great place to stay. I would definitely stay there again.

It's a smaller place, but located very close to Baščaršija and the old city center. The dorm was very clean, and the staff were easy to get in touch with.

Chillout Hostel Zagreb

Chillout was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. They offer just about everything you could need, from hot meals and cold drinks to laundry service and organized day trips. The location couldn't be better, as it's right in the middle of everything in the city and easily reached by tram from the train and bus stations. Had an excellent time staying here, and hope to be able to come back again in the future!

The hostel was clean and very nice, but it was very far away from the center of Sorrento. The in-house cafe/bar was great.
