Got everything a hostel needs but super expensive!
Thank you so much for staying with us and letting us know how your stay was, we really appreciate it! We are a bit expensive now since it is the peak season here in Los Angeles so our rates are pretty much matching up with our competitive Hostels. We wish you safe travels, have a great day!

Awesome hostel! Best one I've been to in the USA. Clean, tidy, everything works, the attached cafe/bar is great, activities daily if you feel like being sociable.
Happy to hear you liked the events we host and our space in general. Looking forward to seeing you again in Portland!

Compared to other hostels in the US, this one definitely needs a refurb. Some more regular attention to keep the bathrooms clean would be good too.

Awesome hostel! Has everything you need for a comfortable stay, though a proper kitchen would be handy.

Overall a good hostel. Clean rooms, friendly helpful staff. Please clean up the pool room so there is actually space to play pool! What's on offer for breakfast seems a bit sporadic... Sometimes eggs and fruit sometimes not. Location is great!

Much like most of Hollywood these days, the hostel looked pretty tired and run down. Common areas and kitchen could be a lot more cleaner than they were. Some beds had no blankets, some pillows are like resting your head on a bag of potatoes. Lots of activities on offer from the hostel though which was great.

Great hostel! Clean facilities, friendly staff, excellent common areas to chill out in. Yes, there are some homeless people in the area but I never felt unsafe even at night. Will be back in a couple of weeks!

Great hostel, room is spacious, free dinner was a bonus, staff very helpful. Kitchen could do with a more frequent clean during day as its a pretty busy kitchen.
Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are happy to hear you had an enjoyable time with us while you were in Queenstown. Our free evening dinners are a crowd favourite and our staff are stoked to hear they exceeded your expectations. We have cleaning staff on 24 hours to ensure the hostel is kept to a high standard, unfortunately some people do not clean up after themselves. Wouldn't it be wonderful if they did. Thanks again and we hope to see you again in the future.

There is quite a bit of space in the hostel and it would be great if they had some more comfortable chairs around the place to relax in. Otherwise, it was very clean and the girls at reception were very helpful!

A complimentary breakfast would be nice but otherwise, a great stay, really clean and staff very helpful.
Hi, thank you for your rating. About the breakfast - we discussed it for a long time, to have or not and what quality. It is nearly impossible to make all customers happy. Our bedprices are very low if you compare with other top rated hostels in a similar location. We decided to offer a basic breakfast for a basic 2 € extra, so everyone can decide to take or not - instead of taking breakfast-money from every customer (with the bedprice). We think fair enough ... Cheers Joerg (manager)

Room was not that clean, the balcony had empty beer cans rolling around on it. Signs of don't do this/ don't do that were a bit excessive. No lockers in room. Staff were in the room trying to change the towels before 10am (whilst I was trying to get changed!!), making me feel like they were waiting for us to check out - this is not acceptable. On a positive note, the price is on par with the other city hostels and there are some good chill out areas and a well equipped kitchen.

Very nice hostel, great location just outside of Thamel easy 5 minute walk into the centre. Khem (the owner) is very welcoming and happy to help with anything at all. Rooms are simple but nice and clean, beds comfortable, and the breakfast is a good inclusion too!

Very run down hostel in need of a good renovation. Bathrooms are very small and pokey and felt quite dirty with lots of empty shampoo/soap bottles that look like they must of been sitting there for a week. Location is great but for the prices they charge I would just expect to stay in a much more well kept hostel than this.
