This is a great family run hostel. Make sure you go out for the family style dinner with Joseph and other hostel mates. He knows all the best places.

This hostel is pretty clean although bit of a walk from main centre (20 mins). Rooms are quite compact you can probably find somewhere cheaper and closer to town. No free water or tea/cofee like in other hostels.

This hostel is located in a bad area. There are lots of homeless around as a shelter is near. Didn't feel safe walking around at night

Owner Comment (Hide)
Of course, our guests' safety is our priority and we've never received any reports of dangerous incidents, guest confrontations or problems. Even still, we have taken a proactive approach with our safety measures to ensure the comfort of our guests. We installed multiple lights that brighten up the nearby park and hostel grounds, and we work closely with the police, and the City to ensure the park's upkeep and cleanliness. Police patrol the area regularly. The front door of the hostel is locked every night at 11 pm and anyone entering the building requires a key card or permission of front desk staff. Every room requires key card entry as well. The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day and we are always willing to arrange taxi transportation around the area should you wish not to walk. Yours truly, Jason Wong Manager
