For my purposes it was perfect - a lovely big bed and en-suite bathroom for my girl and I. Free coffee and water is amazing, and the staff are constantly smiling and are helpful. Since it's also a tourist info centre, there are tons of maps and organised tours if that takes your fancy. We had a free tour around the area, which was extremely interesting, especially as it ended up being just the two of us! The lack of a defined common area might be one downside for independent travellers.

Great hostel. Staff are great, everything is set up perfectly. There is a large common area, as well as a rooftop terrace where you can relax. Magic, Omar and the gang will help you out with anything you need - brew you a tea, prepare a shisha, help you where to get cheap supplies - and will show you around town and the best places to go. The location is also perfect, very central in the Medina.

It was awesome. Nina and her mum were really helpful, they gave us lifts to and from the bus station, and told us more about the war than we learned from our tour in Sarajevo. :D~!

They advertise themselves as made for travellers by travellers, yet there is no kitchen. This is always annoying as you have to spend more on restaurant or takeaway food, or have uninspiring supermarket dinners. At least theres a free breakfast.
