could do with a light on the front door area by the entry terminal thing.i couldn't see to put in the code.also no heating in the actual dorm and lukewarm shower.but staff were brilliant and its a good location by the tram stop infirmary road.
very nice place in a safe area.Staff very helpful.Decent sized dorms with good bedding.Plenty of toilets and showers(hot water too!).
Very nice and informative staff.Probably better place for renting a room as opposed a dorm as the rooms looked really nice whilst the dorms are 4 beds in small dark windowless rooms.Safe area to wander around but bars nearby are expensive.Pool is just a hot tub size.Plenty of toilets and showers and spotlessly clean.
Excellent hostel . Young staff very helpful. Big lockers the bags . keys for the spacious dorms. Bar very busy at night if drinking with other tourists is your thing. Good breakfast. Coffee available all day. Hot water and very clean building. Quality.
probably one of the worst places i stayed in colombia unfortunately.8 beds in a very small room with no natural light or lock on the door.I complained and was put into a 6 bed dorm of the same size.Ive actually been locked up in bigger cells to be honest. No interaction with staff or things organised for tourists.Toilets and showers very small. No place to sit and relax outside the dorms. Its a great location but spend your money elsewhere. No security at night for front door or dorms.
No locks on the dorm doors so anyone visiting the nightclub upstairs could possibly enter the dorms. The bar was a nightmare most evenings when its just this constant childish spin the wheel and kinda bully people into showing tits and arse.Party hostels should encourage travellers to mingle and be social not scare them from the bar. Also perhaps they could ask the police to keep an eye on all the drugdealers and robbers lurking in the square outside after dark.

very nice people running the hostel, cosy feel to the place.
only slight complaint was the room had no window.
good breakfast in the morning, staff very friendly.defo stay here again.
a brilliant position right on the beach and the town centre just a short stroll away.It seems a safe and popular little town.Gus the manager is very nice and helpful.Spent 4 nights and really enjoyed it there, nice to getaway from the major cities and just relax.Only thing i would say is to cover yourself in mozzie repellent as the hostel is next to a forest and the beach,i got bitten badly one night but that's my fault for not covering myself in jungle juice.defo recommend this hostel.
wonderful area botafogo, this hostel was charging extortionate rates for dorm beds and people was packed in like sardines.there was just too many people in the hostel, with the wooden flooring and beds piled 3 high, there was no fire extinguishers so the place would be very dangerous if there was `an incident`.safe area so no problem coming back late(or early)and near to the metro and bus lines.i was very disappointed with the hostel to be honest and wouldn't visit this place again, rip off tbh.

breakfast was good and varied, the staff very helpful(fellow travellers).the location right next to the metro station and a couple of blocks from the beach was perfect.airport bus to/from Copacabana palace hotel on the sea-front is 13 reais.very large hostel and they seem to try to get the guests to enjoy evenings out in various locales in rio, defo recommend this place!
I booked a 5 bed dorm, was given a bed in a big area(which had another dorm just off it but inside our unlockable door!)the toilet/shower was being used by both rooms which meant my bed was being hit by the door constantly as all on the 2nd floor used this facility.at least 13 people and more!the water & sewerage gave up the previous day and it all backed up!,i complained 2 the manager and expected to be moved,he just told me to find another bed if i cud.we rowed & he threatenened 2 call the cops
a bit of a thrown together place tbh,has tarpaulin over a gathering area and corrugated plastic roof over a dorm on ground floor, not very good!,taps and bathrooms very basic but then you are paying such a small fee.internet access but extremely slow but that's not their problem just peru.puno is very safe and can be walked around with no hassle.id pay a bit extra and get a better hostel if i was in this city again.
i thought the prices in the bar for food and drink are quite expensive.i was given a bed high up in the top floor which was very quiet and away from the noise from the busy bar.
shud be 6-7 soles from bus station, please shop around for macchu picchu deals,$230 for 1 day trip.train costs 10 soles for locals each way not $100!.ollantaytanbo to aguas calientes.good hostel, nice food and beer, well run.
it just seemed that in the building i stayed that it was being let go somewhat, none of the tv s worked,no internet to use,no changing of bedding/towels.booked a 4 bed dorm but got put in a very small room with a bunkbed.no exaggeration to say u could fill the entire room with a double bed and that would be it.but great location just outside the old city(not actually in it).
perfect venue, right opposite very lively pubs and bar area.not for those wishing a quiet night in!
very convenient for the train/bus station.not to far from river bars or up to old town.staff were very friendly, internet,tv,breakfast.very good place.
the private room with double bed (shared bathroom)is basically a slightly larger broom cupboard!
private room with double bed(shared bathroom)was just big enough for the bed & a tiny bedside cabinet.Probably better off sleeping in the dorms!
double beds should not be 2 singles pushed together.the heating didnt work very well in our room.
to far out of the city centre,in a very dark & dingy area! also operates a curfew of 01.00am in a brilliant vibrant city that really comes alive later on at night.
NOT TOO FAR FROM THE KREMLIN,RED SQUARE & ALL THE OTHER SITES.METRO NEARBY & A POLICE STATION WHICH MAKES IT A SAFE PLACE.CURRENTLY BEING RENOVATED SO FUTURE TRAVELLERS WILL BENEFIT.
