This was an AMAZING hostel! I wish I could have stayed longer. The staff were so friendly and helpful, I got to sleep in a real bed for the first time in weeks and it was like a tropical oasis with the pool and plantlife. It wasn't too far from town and it was nice to be out of the busyness of the town.
Really nice hostel, short walk from town, has everything you need.
This was a nice place to spend a night - very homely and some people were staying there long-term.
This was a great place to stay - even though it seems quite big, it had a nice atmosphere and small dorms.
This hostel had a really nice layout so that the bedrooms were surrounding the central living area which was nice & social, but a bit noisy when trying to sleep later at night.
I really enjoyed my stay here. It is a nice size and has a relaxed atmosphere. There was a good mix of people and people of around my age (30).
The positives were a great location right beside central station, it had everything you needed and it was clean. However, it wasn't really a place for travellers and seemed more for people over to work in Sydney. It was so big that there was a less friendly atmosphere than other hostels.

I would stay here again. It was a nice area, had a lively bar and big lockers under sturdy beds. The food is expensive, although they try to justify it by the standard of hygiene & food ($2.50 for toast with local jam!) Generally you pay more for convenience of being able to organise things via the hostel. The toilets were not great, but clean enough. There was some confusion over a bus I booked with them but it got sorted. I booked in to a smaller dorm but got put in a much larger dorm.
