Pros- great central safe location; good breakfast. Some rooms have been kitted out with new personal plug sockets and lamp. Cons- incredibly impersonal, unhelpful reception staff, rude at times, they need better training in hospitality. Very, very noisy at the front of the hostel (on a main road so expect sirens and shouting all night) so ask for a room at the back. Some rooms have 2 plug sockets per room which are placed in awkward areas- like under the bottom bunk. Charge to use computers

This pace is great! Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the location is near two mtr stops and the airport bus and various attractions. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless and there is free fruit and mineral water. Great place to make friends as there is a good common area which is equipped with books, dvds, computers etc. Beds are comfortable, lots of power sockets and lockers. Great place, would stay again for sure, no negatives.

Pro's: nice pool, great restaurant, good place to meet other backpackers, easy to arrange tours, nice big lockers and good ensuite bathroom Cons: Difficulties arranging 'free pickup' from bus station, spoke to several other backpackers who had arranged but no one turned up to pick them up, no refunds so cannot extend or shorten stay as flexibly as in other hostels, no maps available of city centre unlike other hostels, temperamental aircon, wifi non-existent in dorms and poor in restaurant area

we make it clear that the free pick ups are hard to complete as bus companies run scams where they stop not at the designated stop so our tuk tuk drivers do not know where th bus is!!! This is noted where we supply info on this service.

This was an extremely basic form of accomodation. Unless you are going with good company I would not advise coming here since it is dull and lack lustre, the toilets and bathrooms a bit dirty and the staff are rude or uniterested. However, location is prime and the place is cheap and you can cook your won food so good for a budget stay.
