+Restaurant is great -Showers are few and awful
Only two lockers in a four bed room (I think)?
Four bed room, only two lockers - that's not so good. Would be nice to have somewhere to hang clothes/store in room.
More of a business than a Hostel
Security could be better. Showers and the lack of hot water are the biggest problem.
Location is amazing; couldn't be any more central. Incredible view from the dorm windows. Breakfast is a great inclusion.
Fairly easy to find and ten mins from station (Keleti). Staff helpful and cooked a traditional meal for us in the evening which was lovely. Only downside is breakfast starts at 8.30 - a little late.
Had the hostel to myself as mid june not considered 'season'. Hostel owner helpful and gave me a lift to the station. Come prepared for the Cyrillic alphabet, it threw me. Owner understands backpacking and happy to help with itenary.
Not really a hostel more of a budget hotel. However for a double bed and room with TV to myself for around 14 Euro, can't really complain. Only a cursory nod to other guests in the hallway, so not good for meeting others. Finding the hostel is not easy
Great location in the old town, easy to find from the pile gate. Staff helpful and understanding of what/how to best see city. Only downside is showers may get a little over-run at peak.
The place has a good feel about it. Location not too far from transport links and easy enough to find, although a sign would be welcome. Staff very helpful and keep the place spotless.
Difficult to review as the hostel changed hands as I slept! New owner turned up on my last afternoon. The location is great being very close to the castle adjacent to the lake.
