Good option in an interesting district. Very good breakfast which, unfortunately, does not start until mid morning! Quite basic but reasonable value for money
Simply excellant all round - also recommend the tours
Not quite as good as its counterpart in Yerevan, Armenia but still a very good option (providing the very steep hill up euneven cobbledd stones is not too much of a problem). Very helpful staff. I would be happy to return
Very good option in a city lacking in good accommodation. A few teething problems with locks and owner going AWOL but remedied with good grace
More appropriately described as Hostel Vending Machine or Hostel Utterly Forgetable. Left with impression that the owner had read the seminal textbook on maximising profits in a hostel and applied it with s zeal. Nothing bad, just utterly forgettable. If there was a vending machine that would bypass any huuman interaction, this place would have one. Wifi codes that expire every 6 hours is bizarre; pizza not bad. "Downtown" is accurate. Whether you want to be next to Termini is debatable.
The property is 4km away from Assisi which sounded like a problem but is just 2 minutes walk from the train station and from the bus stop that goes to the town every 30 minutes until 11pm. In short better than being in the tourist trap that is Assisi. Owner very helpful. An excellent choice. No doubt I Paid a premium for visiting at Easter
I have stayed in a large nmber of hostels, mainly in Spain, and have awarded high maks to many of them. The number that stick in the mind is minimal. This is one such place, set in an old property in the middle of town, with easy access for te bus ststaon. Daniel and his wife could not have been more helpful and considerate. Go to Perugia, I hope to return some day.
Many good things about this place - location, helpful managers in particular - but some of the reviews are unwarranted. By no means a bad option, just avoid the big dorm which crams too many people into a small room with minimal ventilation
Not really a hostel so unfair to be marked down for"atmosphere". Perfecrtly adequate, very clean. However, security is a mjor problem. DURING MY STAY THE CLEANER HAD BEEN INTO THE ROOM AND LEFT IT UNLOOKED!
Very well run hostel in nice part of London, let down by cramming too many beds into a room. Very cramped as a result. Vety good facilities and information desk; excellent breakfast for a hostel.
Fine for an overnight stay
Only let down by a poor location but, in all other respects, would be difficult to beat
Thankfully it was very quiet at the time because there are far too few bathrooms available. Very impresive otherwise.
Only let down by a very poor breakfast but good value even without it. Highly recommended.
No customer comment
very good, no complaints at all
Only let down by the very cramped 8 bed dorms
Good hostel, poor location
Good points: location, interesting character building; clean; wi-fi in dining room, slow in room; communal breakfast is sociable touch Bad points: cold; no heating, needed in winter; no locks on room door; poor breakfast (just cornflakes, plastic white bread and instant coffee); Overall: Not bad in summer but avoid in winter
very enjoyable stay; Gail knows how to run a good hostel and was always on hand to assist and give good advice about Petra and the town. I hope she does well. Still a frew things to attend to (no towels, taps cme off in my hand) but has only been running a short time. I would happily reurn
Pros: Very helpful and courteous ; comfortsable rooms and bathrooms; good wi-fi coverasge; very efficient. Cons: Scruffy, but not dangrous, part of town; breakfast was average Conclusion. A lot of good reasons to stay but rather over priced. The Mariam Hotel, next door, looked better value for money
Exceptional hostel very close to the bus and train stations and old city. Very clean, helpful staff.
I have travelled extensively in Spain and Portugual over the last 5 years and this hostel is probably the best I have stayed in. Very central, very helpful and friendly owner, good quality linen and breakfast. Free parking a short walk away and v close to the hostel at night. Ask for directions to the local restaurant serving good local food
first rate choice in Nerja; no criticism whatsover. Average is only broufght down by a ridiculous "fun" criteria - hardly relevent for a small hotel
this is a very good budget hotel; excellent breakfast; comfortable if small rooms and helpful staff. \\\"Fun\\\" is a ridiculous criterion in the circumstances - it is a functional, well run hotel with no pretensions of anything else
Pros. Great location; clean common areas; very handy safe in room; nice terrace; adequate breakfast (although not as good as trailed); free internet (although I think they all do this Cons. One of the managers was very helpful in marked contrast to a rather surly colleague. Room not cleaned and manager had to be asked twice to do this A good choice if you want to be in the city centre
one of teh best I had stayed in
Excellent option in Little India
Rather rundown, in need of refurbishment, staff not always particularly helpful, poor breakfast. However, still a reasonable choice given good location and large size of rooms and facilitirs. Hutton Lodge would be better option, all things considered.
helpful staff if at times rather over bearing. Good breakfast and rooms. The Inn is only let down by its poor location. I subsequently returned to Chinatown which is much more convenient. Poor value for money
Good budget option with a location that is close to both the bus/rail stations and city centre. Rooms clean. Inevitably there was considrable noise from the road. Couple of good restaurants nearby
a very good budget choice. The lack of heating in winter has been widely reported but there are plenty of blankets supplied. Very frienly staff. A few minutes walk from Santa Cruz area is an ideal location
I never understand why "fun" should be a criteria esp on a weekend city break when all that is required is somewhere to crash! Anyway, this place was very good value in the heart of Malaga. Clearly I was lucky in having a room at the back of the building as there was street noise. The room was perfectly adequate and the adjoining bathroom spotless. Just a minor point - the keys and locks were very awkward to use and in the unlikely event of a fire, evacuating the place would take ages. All in all a very good choice
after two years travelling in Andalucia, this was one of teh best places I had stayed in. Run by a very helpful couple, the hostel is ideally situated in teh old town of Arcos. Room was very clean with good quality bedding and perfectly adequate shower. Great sunrise with birds and cockerels to act as alarm clock
excellent pension in the heart of santiago. I recommend this place unreservedly.
