Welcoming staff, good wifi, comfy bed, off season so not many people in the dorm which was nice. Trafficy road between hostel and the beach but I didn't mind it much. No big lockers if you need that only a small safe. Hard to get the temperature right in the shower, water pressure inconsistent. No soap by the sink which was annoying. Missed a kitchen also. But I felt at home and enjoyed my stay here(:

Great staff, lovely atmosphere, home away from home as someone wrote, great location, nice roof terrace, nice kitchen and common room. Some issues like not the most comfortable beds, blankets overdue for an update, waterpressure inconsistent, wifi sometimes slow and also issues with connecting some devices (not just me), kitchen could use some more space for storing food. The guy running the place seems to really care for the place though and wanting to improve stuff. Recommended.

Charming old house in a quiet charming little town. Nice roof terrace with a beautiful view. Botz was a good host the short stay I was there, made me a good meal both in the evening and for breakfast, and I enjoyed having a beer with him by the fireplace. He also seemed really service-minded which I appreciated. (As a bonus it's also pretty close to the blue smurf village haha, which I drove through by accident after I left, if you feel like making your day slightly more absurd.)

Great place to stay. Loved the location, quiet though right in the center. Clean, nice beds, friendly professional staff, lots of information, good wifi, big lockers underneath the beds, ac/light/shelf by each bed. (Could use somewhere to hang your wet towels and stuff.) It was a short stay so didn't check out the rest of the hostel. Overall the place seemed to go more for stylish than homey.

Ok I guess. Warm shower, bed was a bit hard, cosy terrace/breakfast area, decent breakfast with lots more options than usual. Didn't like that the window was towards the inside terrace instead of towards the outside, didn't feel that private, but luckily not many people on the terrace now in winter. (btw I hope it wasn't common practice to keep copies of everyones passport in a stack on the counter in the reception for everyone to see..)

Great beds! Heater in the room. Nice outdoor terrace. The rest was average. Not much of a cosy atmosphere. Many to share the bathrooms. I slept fine but probably wouldn't stay there again.

One of the best hostels I've stayed at:) Great atmosphere, well kept, clearly made by someone who knows what you need when traveling. Lounge/kitchen closes a bit early (at midnight) which was annoying sometimes, apart from that not much negative to say. Recommended!

This place had more of a hotel feel to it than a hostel, high standard, stylish and superclean. Missed wifi in my room (in the basement) since there's no indoor common room and no computer, had to sit in the hallway to go online. Showers were a bit chilly in the morning but really hot in the evening.

Best thing here is the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff, spacious rooms with lots of light and air, hot showers. A bit tiring with the trafficky road between the hostel and the beach. Could use a bigger indoor common room with a couple of couches, some tidying/freshing up of the terrace, and a computer update (there was only one painfully slow one which you had to stand up to use, wifi also varying a bit in speed).

I liked the atmosphere of this place, great location in the middle of everything, the main guy in the reception always smiling and helpful, great value for money. I guess there's minor things like beds could use a softer top-mattress, and waterpressure in showers could be more stable, but I really enjoyed my stay here:)

The biggest drawback for me was the road going by is quite noisy (you get free earplugs though). And the room was a bit crammed with beds. Showers occasionally had very low pressure. Apart from that it has a great atmosphere, very clean, helpful staff, good place to stay. No kitchen but great thai food in the bar!

I wasn't too impressed at first, it's not the highest standard in the world, but I liked this hostel more and more as I stayed. It has a relaxed atmosphere and the staff is great. And I loved that it was so close to the beach.. from my room I could both see the it and hear the waves coming in.

This place doesn't have the homey chillout feel that some hostels have.. it was more like a hotel which was perfect for me. It had higher standard than some hotels where I payed four times the price, everything is new and fresh and clean, they even fold the toiletpaper like in a hotel. I booked a dorm-bed, but got a two bed ensuite all to myself. Would definitely stay there again.

Nothing exceptionally good or bad about it. The room was a bit drafty and I wouldn't mind the breakfeast to last an hour longer (ended at nine), but apart from that it was a totally ok place to stay.
