Spent the carneval week here...best location for Lapa (a short walk) and right next to Gloria metro/buses for access to everywhere else. Super clean and the staff are both friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and strong wifi. A young, fun-loving but definitely not party hostel.

Great mattress and proper pillow. Dorms a tad cramped and wifi router overwhelmed but apart from that great location, great staff and great facilities. Very popular with argentinians!

Good food from on-site restaurant. Nice chilled out vibe on terrace. Avoid 16 bed dorm if you can - its more of a glorified chicken shed. It is clean however. Probably located the furthest out of downtown Manuel Antonio of all hotels/hostels but therefore closest to Quepos. Frequent shuttle buses run between MA and Quepos during daytime hours for 285 Colones.

There's a good reason why this place is rated number 1 on tripadvisor. Awesome staff make you feel like you are staying with friends and this place is so small you feel like you're at home. In a safe location in an upmarket residential area just outside downtown, but with all the amenities you'd need. I can only recommend this place!

Like a home from home. Excellent location, super clean and everything you need for a chilled base to explore the city from. Harry is very helpful. Not a party hostel...it's more liek staying with friends. I'd stay here again if in NY.

10 minute walk from bus (30 min ride into city) and 15 min walk from MRT (15 min ride into city). Area not the most salubrious with many late night bars. Only one shower worked properly and only one toilet between at least 16 beds, although others from upstairs kept coming to use the one in our room. Dorm on 3rd floor acted as some kind of corridor to upper floors, so continual foot traffic. Room could do with a clear-out/tidy, air-con pretty pathetic - centrally controlled and only on from 8 - 12pm. I wasn't very impressed with this place, but it was do-able for a short period of time. Staff friendly enough, although not really a great place to meet people, despite social/breakfast area.

Colin, Thank you for your reply. The problems will be rectified. My sincere apology for the problems. For elaboration, we did not publicise about the Blue Dragon Children Foundation group as we wish to intentionally treated them the same as all of our guests; even if their stay is free. I do this for 3 main reasons, to inspire the kids that there is a different standard of living that they can aspire to, international travel does not need to be expensive and to exchange with other young people in the hostel their individual experiences. We do this pro gratis work once awhile to bring diversity into this backpacking-hosteling experience. Respect your comments and perfectly understand about subjectivity of feedback. Thank you again. Safe journey. Regards, Tony Tan Betel Box Asia Pte. Ltd.

Within walking distance of all major sights and transport connections. Well thought out, well managed and well kept hostel. Probably the cleanest bathroom I had seen in SE Asia - although only one hot shower in whole house. Owners had lots of useful info about KL and travelling in SE Asia. Only criticism was lack of ceilings in dorm rooms, but most people respected rules of keeping noise down.

Good location, good staff and clean dorms/bathrooms. A bit noisy outside with tuk-tuks whizzing past in the small hours but was good to be able to control air conditioning with in-room remote control. Would recommend it if you want to stay away from the Kho San Road area

Excellent hotel in a great location, cheap too! A mid-range hotel with top-end extras for budget-end pricing! Free internet access in foyer and free minibar in room were a definite bonus. Rooms not air conditioned though, and mine was rather hot! Would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone visiting Frankfurt
