Antique Hostel Bucharest

Bucharest, Romania

One of the best hostels we ever stayed in. The hostel opened only three months ago, everything is new and modern furnished. Great kitchen where you can cook and relax. Even free breakfast. The location is also great being directly at the old town with its buzzing nightlife and close to Piata Unirii palce etc. The staff is very friendly, everything is perfectly clean. The door buzzing, as other reviewers stated, is now changed. You get a key card and can enter any time on your own.

Brasov, Romania

Very nice hostel. The rooms are in the second house of the owners' family on their property. They are very nice, courteous people. There is a wonderful kitchen and common room where you feel like at home immediately. Best vintage espresso machine I have ever seen. The location is a little off old town center, but this makes you walking in this nice city. Also bus is close by. VERY clean everywhere. Private room has its own toilet and shower.

Vila Sinaia 1929

Sinaia, Romania

Very good value value for money there, it is more a hotel than a hostel with your own shower in the private room. Very clean everywhere. Nicely located, not far from Castle Peles and mountain cable car.

Art Hostel Poznan

Poznan, Poland

This is not really a hostel, it is a cheap place to sleep. The showers were almost unusable and dirty. You can hear everything through the walls from your room neighbours. Only two toilets on a very long floor, one of them unlockable, VERY dirty. The non smoking sign was constantly disregarded by the other guests, no personal around.

Retro Youth Hostel

Cluj Napoca, Romania

Nice hostel, in the very center of Cluj. Everything was fine there.

Burg Hostel

Sighisoara, Romania

The hostel itself is located in a very old nice building, in the main old part of the city to go sightseeing. The room was okay, but the shower was really dirty. Mildew everywhere... Regarding facilities, you can put your stuff in the fridge upon request. But you cannot do it yourself. Cooking is also not possible.

The Downtown Hostel

Budapest, Hungary

This is not an anonymous hostel, the stay there is more like sleeping in a shared flat. There a common kitchen, two bathrooms and two toilets (one cannot be locked). It is indeed a huge apartment, whose owner changed to a hostel . Staff is friendly, but the rooms need a big cleanup!! Location is fine.. However it has a good value to money as all other hostels in B. are expensive. Good is that washing machine can be used
