small & cheap hostel just 15min walking from the train station and Piata Romana (airport night bus).
smal dorms (3 beds) for unbeatable prices (this was the second cheaptest hostel, the cheaptest is outside the center and difference was only 1 €, so including transport this is the cheaptest option). Liked: is direct at the metro station and airport bus line, the staff and that that they pack your breakfast if you have early flight. Disliked: toilet seats are very small and old.
A bit far from the center (near torre belem), but busses all night. Good and cheap hostel, but sometimes hostel in the center is only 1 euro more and return ticket to this hostel is much more than this difference.
Everything fine, wifi internet, water filter, showers, good advice and tasty coffee from the owner.
very cheap, party every day, slept well, but staff did not know the second largest city and how to get to the airport at night (which was very easy and i find it in 1 minute with google).
one of the best organzed hostels i stayed in.
Staff is very helpfull and knows everything
The floor in the bedroom was dirty and i get some bug bites, everything else is fine.
very chaotic, not clear which bed is available, very loud at night (doors, pool table), very strange atmosphere (disco light)
centrally but entrance is difficult to find (down in a parking garage), free wine&dinner.
blanket rental costs 3 €, no 24h reception

perfect located just 2min away from the station and the airport bus.
The hostel is located in the greco quarter , which is not the worst, but consists mainly of offices. It's about 3.5 km to milano centrale and 1.5km to milano greco pirerelli train station. There are direct trains to como, lecco and piacenza from milano greco pirelli. The hostel itself consists of serval buildings, they just adding new and renovated rooms in street number 20. The staff was very unorganized, they moved my things to another room without asking me and the breakfat was not included.
perfect location, the rooms itself was clean but the bathroom not that much.
pros: price, location near to the jet station (busses to petra and aquaba). cons: could be cleaner, cold in the night, airportbus is not going to abdali, only to the north station.
very helpfull staff, great breakfast, no rip-off
The location is centrally, but the hostel is not easy to find. I tried it myself and can't find the hostel, then i tried it by taxi and even the taxi driver can't find the hostel (we was in the right street but didn't find the no 6). After 20min driving around he called the hostel, they turned the light on and we found it. It is a small house and you cannot see the number from the street if it's dark. You should place a Hostel sign there and a photo of the exterior of the house on the website.
perfect location, 15min from the Piața Unirii. I stayed on the second floor in the dorm besides the bathroom, the sewage pump is very loud and the walls are thin.
no kitchen, hot water only in most showers.

The hostel is located 5-10 minutes walk from the main train station in a backyard. It has double windows, so there is no noise from outside, but a group of other guests come home drunk and rampaging in the night. You get our own keys for the front door, the floor and the room. The mattresses are saggy and there is some mold on the ceiling in the bath.
The best hostel i stayed so far, everything is brand new and working: luxery furninshings, new computers, big tv, kitchen with some free food. Brilliant staff, very clean. My only point of criticism is that its hard to find (there is no sign on the street or the house, maybe its planned because the hostel is brand new).
We had 2 rooms: 14 € per Person+Night room: + very near to tiburtina station (metro, nightbus etc), towels included, daily bed tidy, free tea, comfortable bed - very loud (traffic from outside + defect shutter + window without gasket), some little defects (hook in bath, shower barrier, furniture) 20 € per Person+Night room: + better window (not quite so loud), bigger room, new furniture, own bath, sat tv - water in the bath (something is leaking), room in the fourth floor + you should not use the elevator both was worth the money and appropriately for sightseeing- or party-trip, but not for relaxation (because of the noise)
