St Christophers Prague

Freaking amazing. You basically walk in and depending on the time of day, it's madness. A giant bar lobby with plenty of breathing room when checking in, comfortable beds with bathrooms in the actual room, high powered showers with dual heads, free lock boxes for bags in rooms, huge party zone at night with live music and happy hours. Easy to meet people, even easier to get laid. It's also within walking distance of Charles Bridge,, castles, old town, Astro clock, etc. Pure epicness.

Umbrella Hostel

This place is pretty sweet. There is a great outdoor spot where people can relax and have some beers and always a shower open on either level of the complex. Beds are nice and comfortable, and kitchen is Legit, always with breakfast food put to pick at. Only slight negative kicker is its a 15-20 min walk to Old Town which is hard to stumble back from drunk at 4am, but not too bad. A good stay, great staff, great time.

City Backpackers Hostel

Great place to hang out at, especially of you want to be next to the strip of clubs and bars (most within 5-10 minutes walking). There is a lounge area downstairs with a kitchen that is pretty welcoming for people to hang out in. We didn't initially see that there is an outdoor patio upstairs on the side though until midnight our last night, which was packed with people relaxing and having some beers, which is exactly what we wanted. Mid-20s crew for the most- good stay!

Hotel Gamla Stan

Not a bad spot to post up in for a day. It's not where you want to stay if you're looking to meet people and party, but it's quiet and nice for those individuals who are just looking to escape in old town. Free wifi and good bathrooms. Little tricky getting around in the building though- lot of stairs and hallways. Still a decent place to lounge at.
