Port Inn

Haifa, Israel

Very very friendly staff, nice outdoor garden, great for relaxing while drinking a good beer. Pleasant lounge area with Sat-Tv and a small kitchen is also available for guests. I slept in the large mixed dorm (9 beds), room is ok but toilet and shower are very tiny. There is a larger WC-shower on the same floor, so it's better to use this facility. Hostel is very close to Haifa train station (Merkaz Hashamona), a 5-min walk, only 10min walk to German Quarter. Very good place to stay, recommend.

Aviv Hostel

Tiberias, Israel

More a low-cost hotel than a hostel, the only good point of this place is its position, very close to the lake and its nice promenade. A 5-10min walk from center and bus station. I slept in the 6-bed dorm, room was a bit small with a reasonably spacious toilet. Staff is average, not rude but quite cold and stressed. Place lacks atmosphere, nothing to do with hostels, no common room or relax area. If you stay 1-2 nights is ok, for longer periods I suggest to look around for other options.

Fauzi Azar Inn

Nazareth, Israel

Very nice old Arab house, lots of atmosphere in there. Clean premises, my suggestion is to add some shower as in the upper floor there is only one available (I guess there is another one in the lower floor, but I did not check it). However, in general a great place to stay.

Nice and clean place, very quiet, and friendly staff. A bit far from the center, however nearby there are many bars and open-air restaurants. Recommended
