Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The private room was quite nice (although it did not contain a king-sized bed as another reviewer posted). There were only a few issues: the water pressure diminished when people used the communal toilets, and although It was nice to have a TV, it's very awkwardly positioned in the room. The breakfast was basic, and as a coffee lover it'd be nice to have something more than Nescafe, but at this point I'm nitpicking.

Fantastic location, surrounded by nature. Tree covered hills surround, with game and other animals grazing. Rooms were clean and well decorated (much of which were custom made--shower heads, headboards), and the food was quite good. Friendly staff (and dogs, cats, and horses) only added to the experience. Only thing I can complain about is that I booked a room on this site for 300 Rand, only to find out upon arrival that it actually costs 400. Please update the listing (and yes I booked for 2)!

Everything was GREAT, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, there's a fantastic pool/garden and lounge area(s)... EXCEPT for how sound carries. Above the door/thin walls in the "double" (2 twin beds) room there is nothing (i.e. someone could climb over if they really wanted), which was the same with other rooms in the area. This means that when people come back wasted at 2:00am you can literally hear every whisper, or every song played loudly from the shared kitchen starting at 8:30am.
