Something for everyone Highly recommend the hostel
There isn't much in Calgary but this hostel is a nice place to meet people and stay Its warm and has all the facilities All facilities available and staff are nice, helpful and genuine A suggestion of TV in the kitchen as this is the only place guests can drink otherwise the room downstairs is the TV and pool room to socialise there are people staying here who are also looking for jobs, so a good place to make contacts for that
The hostel was clean and safe It had all the facilities Coffee could have been free Check-in is strictly at 3'clock which is a but of a pain if the owner isn't there but i was able to leave my bag in the cafe next door which is open to guests during the winter but open to all later in the year the beds weren't comfortable, plastic pillows and mattress. they need to be replaced. The resident dog is best not approached until she comes to you.She gets very sad after people leave.
Staff were helpful and genuinely nice Wifi didn't work in room on 2nd floor Hostel had all the facilities needed Most of the other guests were in groups and french or french speaking which made communication a little difficult There is a TV, games and cvs but generally there was no atmosphere in the hostel but the surroundings were nice
Staff were helpful and genuinely nice Place was clean and it was noticed that staff were keeping it that way Guests listened and followed the rules Access to the hostel could be gained by anybody even though guests had keys so a review of this is needed but I felt safe
Security: attach a mechanism to the front door so it closes automatically as once a person leaves the door remains open Atmosphere: there is a games/breakfast room with beanbags for people to chill out and relax which is great and a bar to have a drink and get to know to know other travelers or the great barman Gerardo who was very nice and welcoming
Instructions to hostel were clear to follow. Welcome was very nice, staff were very chatty and attentive which made me feel relaxed. I was given Turkish tea as a welcome drink and allowed to sit and catch my breath. The rooms (all ensuite)and the bar / restaurant (terrace) overlook the Bosphorous River - AMAZING VIEW As the hostel is new I was shown around the building. Suitable for solo travellers, couples and families. Top floor is a Penthouse room with a Sauna. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hostel.
The hostel was difficult to find due to a lack of street signs but the locals are very helpful but the positive side is that you get experience the windy streets and hidden gems of Split. The main building has internet access and a kitchen and washing facilities and apartments. Manuela is multi-lingual, lovely, funny, helpful and has her spare room in her family apartment converted into a dorm room with air conditioning. The kitchen and bathroom is for everyones use. There is a real family feel and I en
The door to the hostel is hard to find but the cafe staff will help you The lights are timed There are two floors, one with the offices and the other an apartment turned into a hostel The hostel has one single room, a dorm and a sitting room that can be converted Most of us that stayed there talked, chilled, watched the world cup final, there was a real friendly and family atmosphere that came about naturally between us all There is no breakfast but a recommended place to get toast, coffee and ommlette
The hostel is a house or Slovenian villa in a quiet area about 10 minutes walk from the city. Very nice place Small kitchen facilities but enough for everyone that wishes to use them The staff are very helpful and communicate very well with guests There is a code to get into the Hostel The lights work off sensors The breakfast is bread, cereal, all the tea and coffee you want, jams, cheeses, pate There is alot of information about the city of Lubljana in the common room The rooms are clean, each bed
I would recommend this hostel to anyone, the tiger stuff is not overdone, very helpful and friendly, nice breakfast, close to SC, shops, 5 mins walk from old town, something inside and outside for everyone
