Fantastic hotel, great room, great Wifi and brilliant safe, very central location near to shops/markets. Lovely free breakfast too. The guys on reception especially Mohaq(the teacher guy, hope got that right :) couldn't have been more kind, friendly and helpful, have never felt so welcomed anywhere. Stayed as stop over to an Israel tour and did not hesitate to book again for longer when returned 10 days later. Thank you Farah Hotel for such a wonderful time. If you get the chance, stay here!

Possibly the best hostel I've ever stayed in! Fantastic central location for visiting and walking around Beirut. Lots of shop/restaurants on Hamra St etc. Wonderful free breakfast! More a hotel really, the staff are great and arranged a day-trip(by taxi) for me to Jeita Grotto, Byblos and the Harissa Lady of Lebanon at a moment's notice! The roof top pool and bar(you get a free beer too) are fab too, had a v nice swim. Would not hesitate to stay here again, totally recommended.

Great hostel. Fantastic location. Nice and very friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. Has a nice calm atmosphere and had a very nice quiet night's sleep. Wish had stayed here longer, instead of going to Faro to be honest!

Wonderful hostel, lovely stay. Great location, 5mins from 2 metros. Bit difficult to find, go past the cafe and beauty place, right round the block until you see some small steps and an entry door, Very clean. Nice comfortable bed. Kate is the best hostess with the mostess :) she even baked some delicious green tea bread and gave me some of it for my trip home. Would definitely stay again.

Top hostel, my kind of place. Stayed in 10 bed dorm, bed was surprisingly good, quiet and slept very well. The location is perfect for visiting Vilnius and only 8mins walk to the train/bus station. Stairs are a bit crazy, like in a fire station :) to the fairly large kitchen, which has all you need to cook pasta etc + free tea/coffee. Juan was very kind/helpful checking me in and showing the dorm. Dean, Tony really are top blokes too, thanks for all the info and making me feel so welcome guys.

Giant hostel, with giant kitchen and clean stoves/chairs and lots of good showers. Good location - bus stop for the 30 bus just outside, 10mins to town centre. Annoying to pay extra for bed linen. Bed in 30 dorm alright with 2 x plug sockets per bed. Just pay a deposit if you need cutlery and cooking utensils. Key card entry everywhere, so quite secure. No lockers in the room, but they are in reception, they should install a few more though. Handy supermarket in the building. Would stay again.

Good location right near Rome's main Termini train station and metro, can walk to other places too. Yes got put in the other building too, 50m's away, so what. Room had good ensuite + bathroom outside + reasonable kitchen. Bed was comfortable + had power socket + reading light. Double keycode entry to room, but you do need your own lock for the room lockers. Breakfast of tea and croissant was good. Bring your own towels!

Wonderful hostel with the nicest hosts, Emma and Christian. Got there late after 11pm and Emma couldn't have been more helpful. No lockers in the rooms, but it's in a very secure location. Yes, not the neatest, most generic type of place, but basically it's like somebody's flat and the kitchen was great. Stayed for 3 nights and was a fantastic base for Florence, Pisa etc. Quite a bit of street noise as was a single-glazed room, but bed was v comfortable, bring ear-plugs if that bothers you!

Great hostel - big but with a nice atmosphere and staff there 24/7. Room was a fair size, quiet and bed was good, shower was good. Liked the lockers in the room. Good location and base for visiting Milan. They had an Italian karaoke evening the night I was there, which was fun to listen to with the free beer. Breakfast was really good too. Maybe an improvement could be a bag-drop room, but didn't mind leaving my backpack by reception all day to be honest, as always people there.

Breakfast was Brilliant! Great location also, a few mins from the station and easy walk to the town area, although yes it is in prime red light district! didn't bother me much and the district isn't big or anything, but others might not like. Beds are alright, but nothing special, metal framed type, friendly room though. Was only a fleeting visit, but would stay here again - top breakfast :)

Really liked this place, good location, right near the main station. Nice sturdy wooden bunk bed in the 12 bed dorm, with a bed lamp and shelf + large locker under the bed. Card security doors. Good main bar area and very useful free Internet terminals. Very friendly and most helpful staff - really helped me out a couple of times. Would stay here again.

Location is excellent, couple of mins from the main station, Metro and Cathedral. The Rhine promenade is 5 mins down the road. You get your own bed, not a bunk, which is nice, but the lockers are outside the room, so left my pack in the room. Loved that this place actually had a kitchen, becoming rare with big hostels these days. Only probs were that I had a snorer right next to me and on other side was a guy who clicked his laptop til midnight each night :) Big thanks to Ralf for all his help.

Very good hostel, though not cheap -great location right near the Metro, down road from the Sacre Coeur, nice beds, free small lockers, clean and surprisingly large rooms for Paris, good breakfast too, wanted to have seconds :) stayed in 8 bed dorm and got the bed round the corner - nice to have ensuite + a shared bathroom, so you don't have to interrupt your roommates to brush your teeth at 2am. Only annoying thing was the free wifi wouldn't allow both my phone and laptop to connect at same time.

Had a single room here, very small, but had a TV and the bed wasn't' bad, slept well. Bathroom/shower not bad too, very clean. Excellent location, within sight of the ferry port, bus stops just outside, many restaurants/kebabs nearby too. Soon as got there booked the Troy and Gallipoli tour from the friendly tour lady. Turned out to be brilliant tours, despite being dominated by Aussie's and Kiwi's :) esp the Gallipoli one, the guide was so knowledgable, a real expert on the region and conflict.
