Hostel Achalay

Bariloche, Argentina

Great place. Very good location, a few minutes walk from all the central places. Cozy, nice atmosphere, excellent wi-fi and extremely friendly and helpful staff, especially owner Pablo. Bathroom upstairs lacks proper ventilation and water spills a little from shower but clean overall.

Very satisfied. Amazingly clean baths. Overall very clean and well organized. Excellent breakfast. Directions appear a bit complicated but in fact the hostel is within walking distance from the central station and the cathedral. Some 20-30 minutes if you're not carrying heavy bags, easy to spot with a map available from the tourist office opposite the central station.

Anker Hostel

Oslo, Norway

Rather disappointed. Definitely lacking in cleanliness. No baths or receptacles in the small bathrooms, so the shower just splashes all over the place. No hooks or hangers either for your towels and clothes and no ventilation. Bedrooms are also not specially clean. You have to pay for the linen if you're not carrying it (who travels around with no linen?) and several other add-on charges. Check in starts at 3pm, which is evening time in December so you better not arrive early. Young Briton at the reception quite unfriendly. The rest of the staff were ok, afaict. Pretty close to the central station.
