Great Hostel. Extremely cool and friendly staff. Great recommendations about things to do in NOLA. Breakfast is included and is coffee and pancakes. Within 15 min walk to the French quarter and can be accessed by public transport easily. Nice neighbourhood. Dorms and Main entrance are protected by door codes. Bathrooms arr clean but can get crowded. Has a very international feel to it. Strongly recommended!

Great hostel. Excellent facilities. The owner Jerome is very helpful and will give you a good rundown of what to do around Golden. Not a party hostel but aimed more at bringing together other hikers and adventure tourists. Very reasonably priced. Super clean. Common room does close down by midnight though

Hi there! Thank you for your review and your comments. We try hard to give out info without overloading everyone, but it's tough as there is so much to do around here! You hit the nail on the head - we are definitely aimed at bringing adventurers and outdoorsy people together without having a noisy, messy party vibe.... kind of low-key social :-) We like everyone to get a good rest after a busy day of hiking, biking, flying, paddling etc which is why 'quiet time' is from 11pm and we close all the common areas by 11.30pm, especially as we have two bedrooms adjoining the large common room. Happy travels to you - we hope to see you again! Kind regards, Abi

This is perhaps the best hostel I have ever stayed at in terms of vibe. The staff are more than just friendly. They honestly want to interact with the travellers and food is used to do this. Robert's staff are constantly cooking for their guests and ask nothing in return. I got a chance to interact with young Russians and eat home-cooked food. The 4 bed dorm was a bit cramped and lockers a bit rickety but all that is irrelevant compared to The great people who run this place. All the best!

First of all...Thank you so much to Lena and Ana. You two are beautiful, helpful and excellent receptionists! You settled everyone into the hostel really well and made my stay in Bucharest very easy. Plenty of useful info about things to do, where to go and what to eat! The hostel itself is relatively new and very clean. It's good value for money given that breakfast is included (bread , cereal and jam....but free eggs are also provided which is a nice twist). It's a 10-15 min walk to the metro.

Dear Daham, thank you for your positive comments. Along with my team, we certainly looking forward to welcoming your return in the very near future. Cheers, Irina and the Bucur's Team

Good hostel. Staff are really helpful. Breakfast is simple bread and cereal but the staff served me breakfast early when I needed to leave early. Very secure with keycard access but noisy since the hostel is over a bar. However that can also be a plus point if you want it to be. Sheets weren't spotless but were clean enough and ensuite in my dorm was clean. It's not a party hostel but because of its location it attracts a fairly partying crowd. Will stay there again.

Good hostel. Very clean. Cozy dorm with only a few beds. Highly recommended. The reference to the Canon sign on the directions is confusing as I could never find it. Just follow the rest of the instructions regarding going to the left edge of the square in front of Keleti PU and looking for the bank and you'll get there. Hostel is very secure and you get your own lockers as well as unlimited free tea, coffee and hot chocolate.

Excellent hostel. Pros: lovely owners, really good breakfast (ham, cheese, eggs), large airy dorms, individual lockers that fit backpacks, individual reading lights for all beds, beautiful location in a lovely apartment, very clean. The only con is that it is located in a street full of pubs and bars so it is quite noisy late into the night but this can also be looked at as a pro if you want to hit the nightlife. Had a wonderful stay.

One of the best hostels I've stayed at. Very friendly staff. Great generous burek breakfast. Dorms are large and airy and bathrooms are very clean. There is an excellent kitchen. The real selling point is the staff. Did the tour and the guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. Good value and he gave us a great insight into real day-yo-day Bosnian life. Would strongly recommend this to anyone staying in the beautiful little city of Mostar

Fabulous Hostel! Clean, well-maintained. Dorms are small and cramped and you have to pay for lockers but the location is right in the bar/student nightlife area of Busan and it is 3 min walk to the metro. Condiments for toast and unlimited bread are provided and a towel. The real star of the operation is Mike. He is really friendly and helpful. Good hostel. Close to the Xinyi district clubs. No free breakfast but the room price is very reasonable for Taipei. Excellent security and no curfew. Very clean. Only 3 toilets/ 2 showers in the building. Only complaint is reception is not 24 hrs so if you're checking in after hrs or you've got baggage locked away in the office and you've checked out can be a problem. Grace was amazing orienting me and the proprietary map was useful.

Nice hostel. Very helpful staff on checkin. Gave me a lot of info about what to do around SunMoon lake. No pressure to do any tours but they do offer the standard boat ticket with an excellent discount (300 NTD down to 109NTD for an unlimited day's travel). Unfortunately I didn't see much of the staff, after that and my only concern is that when the keys are dropped in the box for an afterhours checkout there is no way to lock the front door of the property from the outside.

Rooms are clean and spacious and given that the dorm section is actually a wing of the Traffic hotel you get hotel freebies in the dorms like soap, slippers, tea and towels. Best aspect though is the staff who are friendly, helpful and full of city info. There was one particular girl at reception who was really helpful (and cute!). Thanks so much! Very good hostel. The free beer happy hour is a great way to get the travellers together and socialising but it is not a rowdy party hostel. My dorm was clean with a good a/c and a clean ensuite. Excellent new hostel. Brand new, extremely clean and with all the facilities (good food, reasonably priced tours, wi-fi) that you would associate with a hostel in the west. Its good value means it attracts a lot of Indonesian travellers as well which is great to meet locals. Location is not within the main Jl Malioboro tourist strip but is an easy 15 min walk away and a Transjogya bus stop is about 5 min walk. Breakfast was great Indo food in large quantities and dorms are spotless with lockers.

Location isn't very convenient but it is still walkable to the city centre in half hr to 45 min with luggage. Very helpful with safaris and bookings and wont hassle you to take their trips. Food and common areas were good but dorms didn't have many plugpoints or any lockers. Great place to meet other travellers if you are looking to put a group together for a safari.

Excellent hostel. Dorms are clean although no lockers. Location on Long street is excellent - close to clubs and eateries. Very safe and can only be entered with keycoded gate lock. Main thing about this hostel is the great staff. They will help you organise trips and activities and best of all will make bookings for you without charging any commission - they will even do this for service providers that they are not affiliated with. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean. Highly recommended.

Not many budget options in Vic falls. Location is good since can walk from main shopping/eating area. Clean and can organise activities. Has a very good bar which a lot of people party at but since the dorms are close to the bar it can be very hard to sleep.

Excellent hostel. Ibrahim and Gail know just what is needed to run a good hostel. Spotlessly clean with lovely dorm. Excellent bathrooms with hot water. Great breakfast which is served early allowing you to eat before taking the Wadi Rum bus or hitting Petra. They will pick up your bags from the Jett bus drop off for free. Great communal environment to meet travellers. The tour they recommended in Wadi Rum with Wadi Rum 7 pillars was good value for money. Keep up the good work guys!

Pros - Located near the old Abdali bus station which is near the Jett bus office. Perfect if you need to walk to the Jett office to catch the early Petra bus. Ridiculously cheap accommodation in the dorms - 2JD Cons - The dorm is a small room on the rooftop with no lock with 6 mattresses side by side on the floor. The dorm stinks and you have to step on other people to get to your mattress. Toilets dont work either and no sign of toilet paper. Mattress was clean with no bed bugs though.

Nice hostel. Dorm isn't really much of a cave. Price is excellent value for money. Most importantly these guys offer excellent tours at about 5-8 lira less than the average going rate in goreme. Tours are excellent and highly recommended. Many thanks Ali!.Hostel and bathrooms are quite clean and good heating. Internet is free but just 1 terminal.

Lovely owner. Helpful and kind. Everything you would expect from a bed and breakfast type accommodation. Single room was clean and ensuite was spotless. Room was heated and good value for price. This is not a dorm-type accommodation though and is aimed squarely at the independant traveller/couple on vacation rather than the backpacker crowd. Breakfast was standard turkish vegetables, bread and spreads. Owner is an agent for Kamilcok bus company (reliable and reputable) and can book tickets.

Great Hostel. Good location close to Omonia and Monastirake. Decor is quite nice and rooms are clean. Staff are excellent. Gave me great info about nightlife in Greece and stored my bags for me while I travelled around the Greek islands. They then helped me get a flight out of Greece and use the internet for free after my onward transportation from Greece was hampered by the strikes. They did all of this even though I had checked out several days before. They also manage Pella inn.

Good cheap 2 star hotel. Had my own private bathroom and TV for 30 euro. Right next to the bus stop in ancient olympia and very helpful and friendly owner. One useful thing for travellers to Olympia is that there IS cheap accommodation in olympia that is not advertised on the net. There is a youth hostel on the main street with dorm beds for about 18 euro but I'm not sure what the opening hours are like and Inomaos is definitely a safe bet if your arriving to olympia at a late time of night

Good hostel. Security is excellent with code-locked entry doors. Rooms are clean but a little shabby. Bathrooms are clean. The caretaker Max is excellent - friendly and helpful. Good location close to main strip [allenby and ben yehuda junction] and a 2 minute walk to the beach. My only cvomplaint was my credit card was charged for the full cost of my booking [I wanted to pay cash] although I arrived on the agreed date and gave clear notice on the day that my arrival time was somewhat delayed.

Excellent hostel. New, very clean and very professional and helpful staff. Location is great. Gives you the restaurant and night life of the new city but the old city remains an easy 20 minute walk or 10 min light rail trip away. Having the light rail stop in front of the hostel is indeed a great advantage. All dorms have their own ensuite and the breakfast is plentiful and excellent.

Excellent hostel with very helpful and friendly staff. Very clean bathrooms and great breakfast. Staff even packed me up an early breakfast for the days I had to go sightseeing. My only criticism is that the entrance to the hostel is through a small shop next to the santander totta bank and there is no sign for kitsch hostel on the street making access a bit hard.

Excellent dorms. Beds have curtains and reading lights and plenty of power outlets in the rooms.Very clean bathrooms. Helpful staff. Just be warned that the reception is closed from 11am to 3pm and the front door is locked [hostel residents have the key code to get in and out] so if you arrive in between these times you need to let the staff know in advance otherwise you wont even be able to get in to drop your bags off.

Nice central location compared to most tokyo hostels which are in Asakusa

Poor experience. This place is advertised as a party hostel and they do a good job of organising drinking parties and excursions to clubs but the place is a gringo-fest and it fosters getting plastered with other people from the same country as you rather than meeting new nacionalities and ethnicities. The staff are unfriendly and unhelpful and I had my bed evicted and cleaned out by accident 1 day before i was due to check out even though I had paid in advance.

Rooms are clean and functional as are the bathrooms. Breakfast is excellent. There is an excellent social calender but all the events are overpriced and can be done much cheaper independently. Pay in US dollars for the room rather than in reais since the hostel bases all its calculation in USD and then converts it to reais at a horrible exchange rate. The staff are very friendly and helpful though and the hostel security is excellent.
