It's fine to stay at, clean and quiet in the rooms. Great staff. Good location. But somehow lacks atmosphere even though it's a "party hostel ".....I think hostels have natural size limits to stay fun. No WiFi in rooms is a bit annoying though - that's an easy thing to sort out and kitchen equipment needs an upgrade!
A bit sterile but does the job. Kitchen equipment is poor, they could spend spend $50 and buy some knives etc Generally good staff but management have stupid and inflexible cancellation policy.
Cosy, good kitchen and great playlists.
No lockers, and quite run down. Needs a paint job and upgrade. Nice staff, a little walk in to town but ok. I'd stay here but there's much better in south america.
Really nice staff. Clean coay rooms. Kitchen needs an equipment upgrade.
Nice hot showers, could do with bit of decorating and updating of kitchen utensils. Really close to bus station and main square so easy to get to everywhere you need.
Lovely place. Stay here.
Bit overpriced and the showers can be tempermental but overall a decent place to stay.
Very comfy beds and great host. Very close to bus station and the centre.
Super clean, good bar, nice staff, good bathrooms, swimming pool for you to cool of in. I'm going back so definitely recommended.
New, cool design, great garden. Stay here!
Had so much fun here but it needs larger lockers, more places to charge your electronics and somewhere inside that isn't the bar where you can hangout.
Great pace to say and really good food. Get the wings! However if booking a follow-on tour to Nasca be wary of the guy in the Nasca hostel ( Loki's Hostel - you go here as part of the trip) the guy is dodgy.
Bar is far too noisy when most need to get up early for Machu Pichuu

The rooms n the side of the main road are really loud (maybe put a double layer lf double glazing in there?), but other than that it's fairly faultless, great location, and fun.
Nice, clean hostel, just needs to sort out the air con issues!
Probably the world's smallest viable single room however would still recommend staying here, good staff, excellent breakfast, hammocks and humming bird feeders!
Stayed here for 2 weeks, good place to stay, great staff, fun atmosphere, good bar/restaurant. Some issues - it's little cold due to the courtyard design of the hostel but just ask for an extra blanket. Could also do with some kitchen facilities so you can cook your own food rather than having to use the restaurant or having to go out. Also the internet in the bar gets switched off at 6 which affects the upper most dorm room which is annoying. Overall definitely recommended.
No reason not to stay here, do it.
Fun pace to stay, v.close to bus station and centre of town. Great views, great hosts.
Nice place to stay, good design, however needs a bit of a deep clean in the bathroom (hair in shower) and kitchen (fruit flies). Right in the centre of town its a short walk to most places from sights to restaurants, bars and the bus station.
Good place to stay, can do with some updating (e,g bathroom). Staff friendly and helpful. .ould stay here again.
Good hostel overall, friendly staff, nice decor, but no laundry facilities or service provided.
A bit dingy and cramped, needs a make over and refurbishment .Good location on the beach and close to centre of town. Ok place to stay but could do better for the money.
Stayed in a private apartment. Huge, clean and 5min walk from the old town walls. Next to the central bus station too so easy to get to from the airport and to take trips elsewhere. Great breakfast too. Huge selection. Definitely recommend.

Really hot and uncomfortable nights here. Only one fan in the corner of a large room which wasn't working and looked like it hadnt worked for a long time. Reception were notified but it was never fixed after 5 days. Generally a bit noisy but I've had worse, definitely bring earplugs though. Good lounge room.and the bar is fine, but you're in Rome so why use a hostel bar? Breakfast is good but you need to pay. Average hostel probably better nearby.

Well designed and trendy hotel in a great location. Very small but still very good.
Great location, just 10mins to all the main sites. Great breakfast and roof terrace. Could do with a little renovation but otherwise comfortable beds and clean. Recommended.
Overall a good hostel from most aspects, the men's toilets were continuously smelly throughout my stay there but that was the only downside. Great location with a bar on the ground floor and a well equip common room/kitchen.
Great hotel, nice beds, nice breakfast, good location that's close to the centre of Stone Town and the markets. Really friendly staff too.
Very basic, no AC or fans in the dorms. Very noisy. Salt water showers. OK for a couple of nights but no longer than that. Bar is very chilled and good. Beach is nice. Owner and staff are very cool, just need a little refurbishment.
Really need some lockers in the rooms, there's no excuse for it really in a capital city. A few more sockets and some individual bed lighting in the room would also be nice. The hostel is right next to a railway line so make sure you bring some earplugs. The location is great, very central and the free airport pick up and drop off is much appreciated.
It's not a hostel but a student halls of residence so great for a weekend stay where you want a room with ensuite but not for meeting people. The room was cleam, security was good and the location is absolutely excellent.
Nice, clean and friendly, excellent security and just round the corner from places that are great to go out. Its about a 20 min walk in to the centre and 10mins to the metro,
Fun, fun, fun! Great staff. Good rooms. Excellent common area. Good wifi. Could do with more bathrooms though.
Could do with lockers in the rooms and some better ventilation. Has though annoying bed than move when someone gets on top. Other than that a perfectly fine hostel. Would stay again.
Great place to stay with nice staff and helpful manager. Clean rooms and hot showers. Fun bar and restaurant with good food.
Do not give these people your hard earned money - they really don't deserve it. They staff don't care and are downright lazy in some cases). You need to pay for wifi in their overly expensive bar on the rooftop. The rooms lack proper ventilation (and therefore smell all the time) and the showers are poorly maintained. Of the 80 or so hostel I've stayed in around the world, this is easily in the bottom 10%.
Toilets smelled a bit and the spaghetti they sold had the meanest amount of sauce I've every seen - must have have been about a tablespoon full. But everything else was fine.
The bathroom could be in a better state or repair. There should ideally be lockers for your bags too. A decent place to stay. Staff are friendly but not deserving of such high ratings.
Get this, a YHA that's fun and with atmosphere! Good food and bar area, really relaxing and cool place. A nice place to be. In my top 20% of hostels I've ever stayed in.
Great hostel, lots of fun, comfy, nice bar at the top but no lockers in the rooms. Would stay here again - recommended.
A bit cramped but very clean, some basic cooking facilities and overall quite nice. Would come back again.
Amazingly clean, new and modern. Just missing those extra little things that make a truely great hostel. However, having said that you can't go wrong with picking this place.
Great little bungalow type dorms. In a quiet but trendy area of the old city. Clean, nice garden area and you can rent bikes cheaply here too. Will be going back!
No lockers and no rooms keys so practically anyone can walk in. Its in good condition, brand new, great beds but there isn't really a proper communal area. Staff are helpful but there's simple things that need to be ironed out before it can be a good hostel.
Great place to stay. It's fun, clean and cheap. No AC though in the dorms. There's a honour system for the drinks fridge and high-speed wifi access all over the hostel. Recommend.
An amazingly designed hostel. Great food and friendly staff. The chillout rooms with the hammock are a personal fav. Internet speed and coverage is absolutely dire however. Definitely recommended.
Not in the best condition. The plumbing was a little off, so when someone flushed next door it affected my bathroom and smells would leak in to my bathroom. Very strange. It's an ok place to stay if you just want a room but not much fun for anything else.
I'd reccommend. No bad things to say about the place at all.
Fun hostel, good food, very cheap drinks, free beer at 5! Good, friendly helpful staff too.
Bed bugs - alot of them too. Would have been an average to good hostel if it wasn't for this. Don't stay here unless you'd like to get bitten.
Nice hostel, but a bit too small. Very nice and informative staff however the hostel isn't staffed most of the time. OTher that ok but there are much better hostels in the area. Great location 5 mins from waterfront.
Showers and toilets are combined and are a little open-air. Walls quite thin also. Otherwise very helpful and friendly staff.
Clean enough but lots of ants around the common area. No AC during the day, not a great area but v.close to station. Staff not amazingly friendly. Overall its OK for a short stay. Functional and clean but not a party place.
I've travelled all around Australia, NZ and parts of Europe. This is definitly for all aspects one of the best definitly in the top 3 possibly number one. It has all the little touches that are important to a traveller on the road and is almost like a laidback hotel.
A nice place, a good location about 20mins walk from Centraal station in the Jordaan area. Very clean and friendly staff but the shower pressure and beds are terrible.
