We stayed in a 6-Bed dorm. The value for money was really good. We used the kitchen here to cook. It was REALLY cold though and you have to walk quite far to get to the washrooms. The walk from here to the main downtown area is quite manageable. The staff was very helpful and the dog was super cute. Good Wi-fi too.
We really enjoyed our stay here. It felt like a little cottage (we stayed in one of the rooms that you go outside to get to). We actually liked it so much that we went back when we returned to Quito (in the same trip). It was farther away from the downtown but, the staff is helpful if you need to figure out the bus system.
This is the cutest place ever. Amazing views.... absolutely charming. It is worth taking cabs to get to this location. There is a free ride down to the large animal market on Saturday morning. A must-do/see.
We stayed in a dorm room. There are big wooden boxes that work as "lockers." The showers/bathrooms are kept quite clean. Cute hostel, great atmosphere. Wish the Wi-fi had worked on the roof-top because I would have loved to spend some time up in those hammocks.
We stayed in a 6-bed female dorm. We had bad roommates so it clouded our judgement of this hostel a bit. It was a pretty good location, close to the beach and downtown core. We rented the bikes and were able to get around quite easily from here. It was a little bit run-down overall but, there are safety deposit boxes (for a fee) and lockers available. Also, the bathroom wasn't in the best of shape. Wear shower shoes for sure.
