First night like the battle of the Somme with noise and thumping. Second night was either much quieter or I was just so behind in my sleep I didn't hear anything anyway. Shower cold.

My only complaint is that I provided 2 photo identifications including my Scottish executive card and was told they were not suitable.
Excellent value but do not believe the free notice about breakfast which was a trifle exaggerated ie toast was not on the menu. Bed unusually soft and slightly pokey but did not stop me sleeping well. However I would head for here again.
The staff tried hard to keep the place tidy. The guests, mainly non-French, were pretty sloppy. A little bit more expensive than London & Edinburgh hostels.
Kitchen facilities abysmal although advised there would be one. It was a room only. Could have been advised by staff about nearby facilities but only found out from fellow guest.
One complaint. Kitchen did not open at advertised time preventing me making lunch.
