City Hostel Seattle

Seattle, USA

This is an awesome hostel that unfortunately has one major issue. It's noisy. And I mean, REALLY noisy. They have hardwood floors everywhere but the rooms, and the sound just carries. There is also no policy of "quiet after 10pm" like a lot of hostels have. A shame as otherwise this is a really great hostel, with awesome staff. If you are a heavy sleeper, by all means stay here.

Travellers House

Lisbon, Portugal

One of the best hostels I have stayed in. Geared towards the traveller, with Wifi, Ipads for guests to use, TV area, free breakfast (scrambled eggs!!), activities on offer. Very friendly, very helpful staff. Highly recommend.

Fantastic as usual

Hostel Positano

Rome, Italy

Rooms are huge which is great, also location is good - five minute walk to the train station, they also have guidebooks behind reception you can use. Only downer really is the bathrooms which are quite dirty. Would stay there again

Hostel of the Sun

Naples, Italy

Great hostel, very friendly staff, however I stayed on a Friday night when there was the pizza night and there were people coming and going from my room all night - not good for sleeping

Central Backpack King

Budapest, Hungary

I booked this hostel thinking it would be a nice quiet place to sleep. The room I was put in had the common room on one side and the kitchen on the other, so you could hear everything that was going on. Great hostel, nice people, but not recommended for people after a good nights sleep.
