On arrival, man in reception pretending for a moment to not have a booking for us was neither amusing nor good customer service. Room was not well cleaned in general, and the pillows were mouldy and the mattress had an unpleasantly large bloodstain on it. I think we could expect better for $100 a night even in Darwin.

During the booking process, it would be helpful to mention the fact that the arrival time is not the time the guest is expecting to arrive by, but rather the very exact moment of arrival. Which is impossible to predict with such accuracy when travelling. We had an anxious half-hour wait in front of the door, unable to get in or reach anyone by phone. The contact number given really should be for somewhere else other than the empty reception.
