Definitely NOT the snazziest hostel I've ever stayed in, but a clean bed for a good price. You'll get a bit of noise from the hallways and there are definitely some partiers here, and the location is a bit away from central Manchester (perhaps 10-15 min walk), but good value if there's nothing else going in town that night. A perfect place for people looking to take advantage of Manc's amazing nightlife.
This lovely guesthouse is a refuge in a city where accommodation tends to be pricey even for below-average options. It's located a little ways from the historical centre of Cambridge - about a 20-minute walk - a regular bus service zips you into town in about 7 min. The surrounding neighbourhood is packed with lovely little cafes, interesting (and cheap!) restaurants and a few very nice pubs (especially for craft and real ale drinkers). The rooms are sparkling clean and Zarah is a friendly host!

Love the design of this hostel & the fact that it's smaller and a bit more intimate. The bathrooms do need work, but they are kept immaculately clean, considering their old condition. Otherwise, I just wish they offered free wifi. Paying for wifi at a hostel in this day & age is a rip.
Guests are herded through common areas like cattle & everything smells like dirty socks. The other reviews are dead on about the showers - having to traipse up & down 3 flights of stairs to reach the shower is ludicrous. The internet is spotty, most likely because this place is over-crowded. There was never anywhere to sit in the common areas & breakfast was industrial corn flakes. They also charge for EVERYTHING, from baggage stow to towels, which you have to BUY. Never again.
Very quiet and ckean, although the property is definitely a bit old and could use a coat of paint and new carpets. The bathrooms and showers are kept very clean but are co-ed. There are private shower stalls for changing. The kitchen is well stocked and the breakfast includes breads, toast, cereals, coffee and tea. The owners are very nice, especially Patrick, who offered to help me find alternative accommodation when he was booked out for an additional night. Worth staying for couples.
This very affordable spot is one of the few places in Manchester offering free WIFI. It is clean and close to the city center, but the set up is a little strange above a pub and near a railway station.
wish your wireless worked, or that there was internet available for the guests. otherwise, LOVE this place!!!
I\'ve stayed at Litton Lane several times and never have a bad time. It seems to attract interesting people. The staff are always super friendly and helpful and it\'s loads of fun!
I have stayed at several hostels around Dublin, but I wasn\'t impressed with Jacobs. Although it\'s well-kept and slick, the staff are fairly unfriendly and it\'s difficult to meet people. Also, their internet is dodgy and they are seriously lacking in hang out space, additionally lacking in plugs for laptops! The lobby was always overcrowded.
The hostel is located VERY far out of Yantai city. There are public buses and restaurants nearby, but it's pretty far from everything. It IS near an interesting beach area, but nothing else around.
Great hostel! Excellent location. Sweet staff. very clean. etc. Highly recommended.
Nice hostel - out of the city center but VERY near to the metro train and tons of small restaurants. Building looks dingy on the outside but it's brand new and SUPER clean indoors!
