Outstanding. Amazingly friendly staff.
It has a lot of potential. Saturday night can be noisy due to loud music. The staff appeared to be quite new, they were helpful but inexperienced as it looked like they were dealing with problems for the first time (breakfast not available on time, not enough pillow slopes available, no tour upon arrival). The beds are not that good, especially getting into a top bunk bed can be difficult. The interior of the hostel is really nice, made of wood, toilets not always clean.
The bilingual staff is really friendly and helpful.
If you want to party, go here! This is THE place to meet other travellers! Staff is helpful and kind (especially Paola!). Wild Rover is WILD.
I had a great time here. The staff is very friendly and they even taught me how to make Bolivian lasagne. Furthermore facilities and location are great. There's an area for socializing outside with the other guests and the area feels a bit like your grandmother's backyard! Highly recommended!
Luxurious for a hostel, expect to see lots of backpackers from English speaking countries, Israel and Western Europe. A little bit like a mini vacation resort with the pool and bar there :-)
I stayed here for a total of 5 days. This hostel distinguished itself from other hostels through the friendly (international) staff, the colorful decorations and the home atmosphere. Every night there was at least one person playing guitar during the hot summer nights. One guy from the staff regularly joins the people in going out and organizes other activities as well in order to make sure you have a great time here. Highly recommended.
I stayed here for a total of 3 days during February 2013. Great staff, breakfast and facilities!
I stayed there for 3 days. Staff is amazingly friendly and very helpful, rooms are clean and the location is great just a few blocks away from the main square / centre. Breakfast is decent, it includes coffee / hot chocolate and some breads with jam / dulce de leche. Highly recommended.
Great hostel to spend a weekend, nice and helpful people! Staff is amazing!
Expect it to be tourist oriented, prices for laundry en activities are higher than at other hostels. I had a great time over here and met some interesting people, the staff is helpful and friendly.
I spent around 1 week in the hostel and it really felt like home seeing the atmosphere in the kitchen, bar and the people who stay there. Staff was very helpful and the hostel is amazingly affordable! Cleaners are there everyday to clean the room. You will meet amazing and open people of all of types and all ages which makes it impossible not to have a good time here. I would definitely go there again and I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for something that feels like home.
The hostel staff was amazing, always willing to help with anything! They helped us find good clubs, assisting us with public transport directions and one of the staff even printed my boarding pass for free.
The free Wi-fi wasn't working sometimes, but everything else was great!
One of the best hostels that I've ever stayed in.!
Best hostel I ever stayed in.
An awesome cheap hostel on the best location in Dublin!
