Tomi is a bit of a character, you can't help but feel welcome here in this cosy and homely hostel.
Great hostel with fantastic common space and good breakfast. And a fridge full of delicious beer.
A wonderful garden to be lazy in, good breakfast and helpful staff.
Great location in the old town, very welcoming and some great common spaces... and FREE ICE CREAM!!
Very homely atmosphere and helpful staff. (make sure you have a vague idea of where you're going first because it can be hard to find.)
Small, cosy, clean hostel with a nice atmosphere and a homely feel.
A great cheap option in an increasingly pricey city!
It sort of lacks common areas because the bar area closes when the bar closes, so if it's too cold on the roof terrace your only option is to keep drinking in reception or on the stairs... I reckon this place would be awesome in the summer with more people around, nicer roof terrace weather and hopefully less hoards of school kids (!). All in all though, a good option, and I'd probably come back if I found myself in Florence again. The room was great and the barman was very friendly...
Great hostel, huge kitchen, nice common space and BAR!
Wonderful hostel with pool and bar. Good vibes and amazing people.
Large common spaces as well as awesome roof-top bar. Great location, too. Happy times here.
Fantastic location if you're in Berlin to party.. it's near so much cool stuff! Good vibes, nice rooms, friendly fish, would stay again for sure.
I have only good things to say... this place is spotlessly clean, the beds are solid wood, there are plenty of plug sockets in the rooms and it's 5 minutes walk from the train station... it ticked every box for what I wanted.
More of a budget hotel with some dorm rooms than a 'hostel'... there's no real hostel atmosphere. But if you just want a cheap place to stay, this is perfect. The location is good, the staff are friendly and they get a special bonus point for not trying to rip off football fans during Euro 2012 with high prices, thank you!
There are signs announcing an 11pm noise curfew but this curfew is not enforced. I'm not saying this is a bad thing. If you want to be pre-drinking until the early hours this is great! But it's not a hostel where you're going to get a good night's sleep, so bear that in mind... come here to party!
If you prefer hostels with a guesthouse feel outside of touristy areas, this is for you. Nice family, nice rooms, nice nice nice.
Awesome little hostel on a beautiful island with cool staff and good vibes. :)
Really great little hostel in a decent location. Large flat screen with internet and movies in the dorm, with lockers big enough to hold a party in. Good stuff.
Some staff members have a sense of humour that will make you think they're rude... but don't take too much notice, or just laugh it off. They're fine really. Some little things let this hostel down like lack of toilet paper and only having 1 computer for internet access, but I ended up staying a week. Kotor is an amazing place, even if this is not an amazing hostel... but it'll do just fine.
Like everyone else says, the best thing about this hostel is the 'war tour' run by the owner... being picked up from the train station for free was also nice. Generally a very nice place to stay.
Ok overall, but be aware that reception closes from 2pm-5pm. Actually, nobody turned up until 6, even though we specified an arrival time of 4 and were there on time. (we were tired enough to sleep on the street but you may not be)
Seize the night!! That's what this hostel is all about. Everyone was epicly awesome, and the sooner I get back here the better. Much love.
Everything I like about a hostel... small, homely, tidy, clean, friendly and easy to meet people to seize the night with in Belgrade.
A safe bet if you're in a group looking for a place with a bar... (with a happy hour).
Well located and was ideal for us as a couple. They could do with an extra member of staff at times and the showers are the kind that make the whole room wet. But seeing as they're the only bad points I can make, that means it's fairly good.
Was only there for 1 night, but from what I experienced it's a very chilled out and friendly place to stay.
Good hostel, good vibes, plenty of chill-out/social areas and solid wooden bunks, which is always a plus.
Central, clean and cheap... suits me.
Nice social areas, nice rooms, awesome location, just off the Royal Mile and around the corner from Cowgate with its pubs and clubs. Would stay again.
Really cool social area... nice to hang out in. Free breakfast always gets a thumbs up, but the area around the hostel isn't too nice.
I was only here for one night but what is immediately obvious is that this is a massive hostel not ideal for single travelers. Everything about it is very good, but more suited to groups I\'d say. Could do with some more computers.
This place is very cool and good for single travelers.
For such a big place I was surprised there was no staff on site during the night. There's lots of common area space scattered around, a well equipped kitchen and a pool table etc for entertainment.
Very good for the price and only one block from the central train station. There\'s a computer in the lounge with free internet and there\'s free WIFI too... Also, the free breakfast was good. Would definitely go back.
A really nice hostel in a small town on the lake. Easy to find, near shops and restaurants, very chilled.
Quite simply my favourite hostel ever. It\'s compact, it\'s clean, it\'s friendly, it\'s fun, it\'s perfect. I will be back. Every guest is welcomed with a tea/coffee and an introduction to Budapest and every guest leaves with great memories and a hang-over. SIEZE THE NIGHT, BABY!
Not really my kind of hostel. It\'s massive, it has a bar and thus no real common area (or kitchen etc.) Better for groups, but I did have a good time on my own with the people I met.
Just what we wanted and a very good price, too.
This hostel is very homely, and there\'s a nice atmosphere. There\'s some long-termers here who take over the social areas a little bit but if you meet the right people you\'ll have a great time... It\'s seriously close to Bedford-Nostrand subway station in Brooklyn, 20-30 minutes from Manhattan.
One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in... they have thought of everything, really. I had an awesome time here... GO TO THIS HOSTEL!
A nice friendly option very close to a supermarket.
Amazing place. I found it very hard to leave. Pick this hostel, you will not regret it, and send my love to Maria and Diego, in that order.
This is a great hostel, it just wasn\'t really my kind of place... it\'s MASSIVE... too big for me. I preferred Hostel Amigo as it\'s smaller. Go to Cathedral if you\'re in a group and you\'ll have a blast.
A really nice homely place.
Ultra-social, ultra-fun in a really cool town... I could live here, but I wouldn\'t live long.
An amazing place. Loved it.
Wow, what a hostel! Probably one of the best in the world if you approach it with the right mind-set. Sure it\'s rough around the edges, but that\'s part of the charm. The beach parties happen most nights and they get messy. Immense fun to be had.
Small and friendly, you\'ll get to know everyone here. Close to some really cool Downtown night-spots (i.e, where the locals go) and 20 minutes by bus to the Hotel Zone\'s nightlife.
Lively bar, good times, good vibes.
One of the best hostels I've ever had the pleasure of staying in... It's very well hidden in the medina and the chances of finding it on your arrival are slim but there will be plenty of kids on hand willing to show you the way for 10 dirham. Stay here. The 8 bed-dorm is pretty special.
I loved this place. You *will* get lost if you try to find it alone, so make the call and they have someone to collect you. Really relaxing vibes and pretty damn clean. You\'ll fall in love with the dog.
Located in between the old town and the beach this hostel is \'probably\' the best in Tarifa... should always be people up for partying too.
A little hard to find but don\'t let this put you off. Nice roof area with small pool, a cool bar, and all very clean.
There are better places for similar cost, but this ok... The \'lift man\' is funny and the towels are nice... :-\\
This is a guesthouse up a hill that can be quite spooky in the dark..! Not far from the water-front and not far from a bar with great cocktails... a bit shabby in places but fine.
