Long Hostel

Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

No window in the room, but clean, nice bed and many electricity outlets. Breakfast is ok, and only night shift staff is a bit grumpy. To Mekong they get you a good discount. Go for a very early boat ride instead of the 8 o'clock planned for the tour. It's worth it

Golden Time Hostel

Hanoi, Vietnam

The staff was overrated here on hostel world. They speak poor English, what makes it difficult to ask for proper help to go around. Even though, they payed my taxi to the airport! Location is definitely perfect and no need to worry about it. Showers are in the same space as toilet and basin.

Jam Hostel Kyoto Gion

Kyoto, Japan

Staff was misleading when giving city information. Got lost sometimes and missed the imperial palace for that.

Tokyo Hostel

Tokyo, Japan

Towels and lockers charged 100 yen. Close to Ueno and Asakusa, but if you're into the nightlife or even late dinners, you'll have some trouble with bus and subway closing hours. Prefer Shinjuku or Shibuya.

Just be prepared to a couple of harmless drunkards and common bath area.

Hostel Achalay

Bariloche, Argentina

We just missed some background music during breakfast.

Rancho Grande Hostel

El Chalten, Argentina

Don't accept room 21, the only without lockers or enough space for six people to be in. We changed rooms, so we could feel the difference. But the other rooms are GREAT! Cleanliness doesn't feel like perfect, but it works just fine.

Pioneros Hostel

El Calafate, Argentina

Staff in focused in selling the Excursión Alternativa del Glaciar Perito Moreno, instead of explaining the directions and extra information a guest actually asks for. Out of that they are ok.

Hi Patagonia Hostel Puerto Madryn

El Firulete Downtown - Ar Hostels

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Only warning: location can be tricky. To one direction it works ok, to the opposite it gets lonely and dark. Nothing a cab wouldn't fix, but just a notice. Out of that, really close to major spots in the city, and we were happy to walk around all day being so close to our beds.

Red Hostel Montevideo

Montevideo, Uruguay

Bad but close to main spots.

Blue Corridor Hostel

Vienna, Austria

We shared the toilet with the people in the bar! Just a room behind the bar's deposit. Japanese owner completely freaky, ironing clothes on the counter... Really freaky.

Great, price maybe higher than it should, and expensive breakfest. Unpatient staff.
